Chic designer Jonathan Adler, who produced one of my favorite pet bed designs, is showing off his love for animals in a new way — with pottery and home accessories! His line of place card holders, pottery, salt and pepper shakers and lamps made in the likeness of whales, penguins, giraffes and hippos is right up my alley — it's all wild, baby! These goodies are available for purchase on his website ($18-$700) now, but if we're really lucky, we may see a few of the items on the shelves at Target.

Just in time for someone's birthday this month (and by someone, I mean he's got four legs, is black and white, and goes by the name of North), I can give us both a b-day pressie and order one of these adorably original Boston Terrier art prints straight from Rubenacker's Etsy Shop to hang on my wall.
Good news for you non-Boston owners: Rubenacker doesn't only craft Boston Terrier prints (there are some other smooshies making an appearance, as well as a number of other breeds), although I happen to be a little partial, naturally. Ranging in price from $11 to over $100 dollars, there is something for everyone.

For those of you who haven't yet seen Up, I'm referring to the name the dogs call this collar. Yes, we know it's important (especially post-neutering), but it does get giggles and sidelong glances from the human passersby. If you're in need of a night light — so you don't trip over your pet — the Carlos Night Light ($145) gets the job done.

I'm all about ways to reduce our urban footprint (and pawprint), so naturally I'm loving these all-natural tees from Planet Dog. With silly sayings too, these organic tees are printed with earth-safe, phthalate-free inks and made with partial wind and solar power! They come in men's and women's sizes and make a great present for friends who love clever tees, and also want to think globally and act doggedly for an eco-tastic life!

It's wedding season on the Sugar network, which means the topic of things we bring into a marriage or relationship — from that collection of 200 heels, emotional baggage to extra furniture — is in the air.
Most of you say you couldn't date a non-animal lover, but plenty of couples join together in perfectly blissful animal-loving unions. Did your true love bring a doggy, fishy, kitty or exotic pet to your household?

Plenty of doggies and kitties can be quite mischievous choosing to scratch, chew, or do other naughty things to your furniture. Just one of the perils of pet ownership sprinkled on top of all the positives, I'd say. If you're trying to protect your table or chair legs from claws, paws, and teeth, consider this investment.

Since I'm not really a hat kinda girl (even though I love to admire them on FabSugar), I'm asking what you think of this khaki cap. Perfect for nighttime dog walks, it's a hat and flashlight in one. Neat, huh?

I've been spending a substantial amount of time trying to cruise the Internet for steals and deals, and my latest hunt uncovered these super-cute Polka-Dot covers from Pottery Barn. With medium ($24.99) and large ($29.99) still available, if you've picked up a bed insert in the past (or already own any cushion either 36-x-48 inches or 50-inch square), here's a great way to switch up the pattern this season. At these highly discounted prices, it's definitely cheaper than buying a whole new bed instead.
