Dog Mom the New MILF?

That headline caught your attention, huh? I bet it would even more so if you saw it on a shirt! I simply could not stop giggling when I recently spotted these words – on pima cotton tees. The Fleas Knees'Mama Foursome collection ($40-$60) offers other silly sayings like "Ghetto Stud's Mama" or "Mom-of-a-bitch," but I'm not sure I could bring myself to put that on . . . I'd be too busy laughing.

Now, since I'm all for fashionable designs for animal lovers, I love that the FleaGirlz have just one simple rule: "Friends don’t let friends wear shoulder-padded sweatshirts adorned with illustrated Shih-Tzus." I agree completely. Do you have a big enough sense of humor to sport one of these tees?

It's a Toss Up: Dog (Sort of) Shares Rawhide with Bird

Now many pets are possessive of their snacks but, when I was watching this cute video of a Shiba Inu and a birdie (that looks a lot like former POTD Franklin), I couldn't decide if the dog was contemplating sharing the rawhide with the bird, or if he was just moving around to encourage the flutterer to move on.

With a name like Snoop Dogg, I don't know why I was so shocked to learn how many dogs he has in his household! Although he doesn't count any cats in his furry fam, it seems he got word of this feline that got fitted with a gold grill. Seemingly different from the cat dentures I heard about last week, the procedure cannot only replace missing teeth, but cap existing ones. In order to show his love for all those dogs, they'll each be fitted for grills sometime this month. Mr. Bean Does the Dog Show

Well, since Crufts takes place in England and includes agility and obedience competitions, I couldn't resist passing along this funny doggie agility/obedience spoof from British comedy television series, Mr. Bean. Unsurprisingly, he's got the most comical pet of all . . . well, sort of.

Awww, Teddy's on his best behavior and, sadly, that's the only way my pet would win an agility contest as well!

Anatomy of a Cat Brain

Although this is obviously meant as a joke, the Anatomy of a Cat Brain seems spot on nonetheless. Especially the part about the short circuit sending your cat from Prrr to Grrr in no time flat! Although I don't have a cat of my own, I've seen a few turn from cute to crazy, freak out at a can opener, and have heard firsthand about how some have a tendency to ignore you . . . seemingly on purpose! Cats are definitely funny (and sometimes totally strange) creatures – is your cat afraid of something weird and obscure or do you just have a funny kitty story? Tell us about it in a comment below!
