The official presidential pardoning ceremony hasn't even happened yet, but I couldn't wait to share some facts with you! As part of an annual tradition, two turkeys (well, one bird and an "understudy") get a full presidential pardon — and the designation as the "national Thanksgiving turkey." I love the coats on Portuguese Water Dogs – whether they've got waves or curls (both are allowed), they look like big balls of fluff! When CitizenSugar told me these two pups joined Sen. Ted Kennedy (and wife Vicki) at Capitol Hill for the short session today, I had to share my knowledge of this breed with you!

I'm becoming a bit of a trivia buff, and with approaching holidays, I can't resist brushing up on some useful (or useless) knowledge to share with friends and family.
