Although I caught the Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday, other than that I didn't watch much of the events on TV. The one sport I did see was the balance beam finals. You may be wondering what this has to do with PetSugar (other than the fact that both Nastia and Shawn are doggie owners), but just bear with me here.

The two Democratic stars are coming out to the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood tonight to hopefully discuss the urgent issues of our time. Only two candidates are left standing!! I can't wait to see Hillary and Barack face off sans surrogates.

The much be-hyped town hall debate brought the candidates close together on the bright red carpet, the people closer to the candidates, and perhaps the undecideds closer to a decision? Between the discussion happening here, and the sparkily veiled tension on the stage, how did this match up fare? Here's what we thought:

Liberty: Last night in Ohio, the sparring over health care revealed a genuine policy difference as well as a genuine difference of debate style. Hillary's plan is more pure. A mandate would cover many more people.

The fat lady is tuning up for the final hurrah, the last debate before the presidential election. Hosted by Bob Schieffer at Hofstra University in New York, the debate starts at 9 p.m. EDT and will last the standard 90 minutes with the candidate sitting side by side.
