Did Your Pets Travel This Season?

Sadly my pooch didn't get to go on any vacays this Christmas, and he didn't even get a nifty souvenir either, sooo neglected. (Yeah, right.) He had a great time at Pet Camp making friends, running around, and simply looking adorable.

Whether you just got back, are still away, or never left home this holiday season, did you go bye bye with your furry friends, snuggle up together . . . or did they stay elsewhere instead? Oh, and don't forget to lemme know how it went, too, in your comments below!

Casa Quickie: Repurpose Your Holiday Cards

Now that Dec. 25 has come and gone, we've probably all have handfuls of "Seasons Greetings" lined up on our mantels or pinned to our refrigerators. Instead of stashing those cards in a drawer with last year's, you might as well put them to good use.

Send yours to St. Jude's Ranch For Children, a safe home that rescues abused, abandoned, and neglected children. St. Jude's runs a 30-year-old recycling-card program to benefit the children, which will make those goods wishes worth much more than words. The children participate in the program by making new cards. After removing the front of donated cards, they attach a new back made with recycled paper, and then they are sold.

Keira to Take Talking Cure After Cookbook Christmas Wish

Keira Knightley wore her familiar outfit of boots, jeans and snuggly coat as she left the Comedy Theatre last night. She's been treading the boards in The Misanthrope all month to mixed reviews, as rumours have circulated about her relationship with Rupert Friend and her possible nude portrait. The latest report about her professional life claims Keira will star in a film version of Christopher Hampton's play The Talking Cure, about a Russian-Jewish psychiatric patient (whom Keira will reportedly play), who is thought to have inspired discoveries made by Jung (played by Michael Fassbender) and Freud (played by Christoph Waltz). It sounds like Keira has lots to look forward to in 2010, following a busy year that culminated in a cookbook Christmas present wish! Keira reportedly said:

"I am not the best cook in the world. I have tried but I really am hopeless. I can cook maybe one dish. But even then, if you ate it you'd probably end up with food poisoning. Recently, a friend was teaching me how to make an eggplant bake. I brought it out of the oven in this beautiful bowl - and dropped it. It smashed all over the kitchen, and I burst into tears. Which is why I will ask Santa for some easy-to-understand cook books."

I wonder if she got what she wished for?

Regifted: Women Auctions Presents From Cheating Lover

Imagine this: you find out three days before Christmas that your boyfriend has been cheating on you with your good friend. After dumping the dud, what would you do with your unopened Christmas presents? When this happened to Leanne Joseph of Britain, she decided to sell the wrapped presents on eBay.

In her ad, Leanne tells potential bidders that they can rest assured that the mystery gifts are worth their money. She writes: "'We fell out on the 22nd and we will definitely not be getting back together, so I do not want anything he had chosen for me this year. This is a bargain for someone as he always bought me nice gifts." Leanne also kept up the Christmas spirit, pledging to donate the profits to charity.

The final bid went for £350.00 ($550). It's amazing how a tale of heartbreak can drive the value of some simple unopened presents up so high! I might have some wrapped presents lying around . . .

How Long Do You Leave Your Christmas Decorations Up?

Gwen and Gavin Enjoy Christmas Walks and Work Outs

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been enjoying the Christmas period on Gavin's home turf, and on Boxing Day they wrapped up warm for a walk on Hampstead Heath in London with Zuma and Kingston. On Sunday the gang headed to Beaconsfield to visit family, with the boys dressed up in matching tops: adorable! By Bank Holiday Monday, Gwen was ready to hit the gym, keeping warm in her pink coat. The Stefani-Rossdales have had a fine time during their UK stay, with festive days out, red carpet premieres, and time with friends and family.

The Royal Family Spend a Snowy Christmas at Sandringham

The Royal family were full of smiles as they arrived for the Christmas Day service at Sandringham Church in King's Lynn. Members of the public lined the snowy path to welcome the Queen and her family, with the female members like Autumn Phillips, Zara Phillips, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Princess Anne, Camilla Parker Bowles and Sophie Rhys-Jones all wearing an array of colourful hats. Prince William kept clean-shaven for the service, unlike last Christmas when he debuted a full beard which didn't last long! Wills, who slept rough earlier this month for homeless charity Centrepoint, was joined by Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Camilla and other members of royalty, whom lots of you would have liked to spend Christmas with. I wonder what 2010 holds in store for them.
