OK, it seems that this vampire madness won't go away anytime soon — between Twilight and True Blood, I'm seeing fangs wherever I look. And how adorable is this kitty toy?!
Filled with stemless catnip, the felt toys won't draw any blood literally since the sharp parts are removed, and I'd surely be excited to see this kind of vampire coming at me!

Whether your kitty loves it, likes it or would leave it in a heartbeat, catnip is synonymous with many cat toys. They come stuffed or sprayed with the essence of this fragrant plant but do you know anything about it . .

If you're looking for new games to play inside with cats in Winter, look no further than the new mod stripe kitty krackers from SF's George pet supply shop. Now coming in both kitten (6.5-inch) and tomcat (12.5-inch) sizes, these toys are stuffed into fresh catnip sausages. I picture both to offer plenty of hiding and seeking (read: attacking) options for those super active cats looking for a savory snack to sniff this season.

Still looking for a super unique holiday gift for pets? Well, when I spotted these catnip eyeballs, they seemed just the thing for cats that love the homemade. After all, these cute toys are made from recycled sweatshirts (inside out) so that the nubby cozy part is what your pet chews on.

I know, I know. Not all cats like toys. Friends with finicky felines have told me that the material of a toy makes all the difference so I've scoped out these adoro birdy designs with three different textures .

Now my childhood cat reeeeally enjoyed her fragrant toys, but somewhere out there you'll find furry felines that love staying catnip free. Bottles, blossoms, or birds, can your cats ever get enough of the green stuff?

Trixie + Peanut Pet Emporium was a fave destination of mine in NYC – and I'm always checking their website for the latest and greatest. Because those April showers certainly brought May flowers here in CA, I thought it fitting to feature their Organic Enchant-a-Cat Catnip Blossoms ($9 for 16). The hand-harvested fresh stems are extra smelly for kitties with high amounts of essential oils to provide felines with a out-of-this-world catnip experience!
