What better way to remind yourself each and every day that you have exquisitely bad taste than with a calendar filled with random stars, nerdy subjects, and weird pictures? If you haven't already bought a calendar for 2009, I suggest perusing this slideshow for inspiration. Today is the first day of the rest of 2009!

If you need a 2009 calendar, let me suggest the most fashionable out there: the W Hotels/CFDA 2009 Calendar ($15). What makes this more special than others? For one, it's designed to look like a sketchbook, includes blank sketch pages, and has room to hold a pencil.

These little guys may live in your Lego towns, but they get into some sticky situations and seasonal shenanigans in the UK's 2010 charity calendar. Available to purchase online, the calendar benefits the UK's National Autistic Society, which makes me feel good for indulging in one of my favorite geek items ever, and makes a great gift for a fellow Lego lover as well.

The other day, I briefly mentioned how Google was rolling out task list functionality within Google Calendar. Today when I opened my GCal, what beautiful option appeared? It was a lovely task link for keeping my to-dos and calendar items in one spot.
