Actors Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly have finally sold their 9-bedroom, 3.5-bath Victorian townhouse in Brooklyn, which they put on the market in May. The Bettany-Connelly Prospect Park pad still stands in my mind as the one of the most impressive celebrity digs I've yet to take a gander at. Not only are the prewar architectural elements absolutely stunning and nonpareil, but also the couple made simply tasteful interior design choices that create bold, uncompetitive statements throughout the house.

The folks over at Real Simple (70 of them, to be exact) recently took part in New York Cares Day, and volunteered at the P.S. 346 elementary school in Brooklyn. In just five hours, they assembled 37 pieces of new Ikea furniture and applied their design expertise to an uninspired multi-purpose room.

According to Brownstoner, Jennifer Connolly and Paul Bettany have put their historic, prewar 9-bedroom, 3.5-bath Prospect Park (Brooklyn) Victorian townhouse on the market for $8.5 million. The handsome couple is ditching their park-front manse in favor of a TriBeCa loft, just as Scarlett Johansson and Kevin Spacey are leaving the neighborhood. Being single, I've had my fair share of online dating experiences. However no online dating service seems as exciting as this cooking show that FitSugar told me about. The interesting website — Feed Me, the Brooklyn Cooking Dating Show — invites two singles into the kitchen.

Buttercup's PAW-tisserie is often featured in my pet snack or people snack quizzes because they stock (and bake) some of the cutest animal yums around! This gourmutt dog bakery specializes in freshly baked, all natural and healthy treats with no added sugar, salt, or preservatives. They use only the highest quality, human-grade ingredients like fresh meat, roasted peanuts, organic carrots, fresh spinach, and carob and all biscuits are handmade, rolled, cut and then slow baked to perfection.

Brooklyn’s Prospect Park is just one of the many parks in New York that's open to dogs, but it also features an especially cohesive community of pet lovers. They've joined to form local organization, FIDO (Fellowship in the Interest of Dogs and their Owners), and welcome off-leashed dogs on the first Sunday of every month for coffee, goodies, and good, ol’ fun for the pooches to help spread the word about animal-related news, rules, and other events. The park itself features many wide-open, roaming spaces with off-leash hours (in the evenings and early mornings), and even has a Dog Beach for those Summer nights.

Victoria Beckham spent her Valentine's Day in LA with not one, but two dates -- her sons Romeo and Brooklyn. The happy trio hit up the Cheesecake Factory (for giant mounds of food, I assume). She looked fabulous, as usual, while her boys looked quite the dapper young gents indeed.

David Beckham brought his three boys out for ice cream in LA last night. He had his hands full afterward carrying Cruz and Romeo back toward their car, and David even revealed that he's walking around with a boot on his foot. His injury didn't get in the way of a victory for the Galaxy last weekend, when his two youngest sons joined their older brother Brooklyn on the sidelines.

Victoria and Brooklyn Beckham recently took some time out to travel and visit underprivileged children in Kentucky in conjunction with the Save the Children Foundation. Posh and Brooklyn played soccer with the kids and handed out backpacks and shoes. She also talked about bringing her oldest son to visit the area saying, "I'm pleased Brooklyn is learning that by helping and joining other children he can play a role in making his generation the greatest yet."
