I know that 71 percent of you call yourselves "pet parents," so I can only assume you'll understand my adoration for these new doggie cards, which just happen to look a lot like birth announcements for babies.
The front side of Modern Pet's Dog Announcements and Cat Cards offer space for your latest addition's name, date adopted, weight, and breed. The back side of the postcards are blank, so you can include a personal note about how much you love your new furry friend.

I'm all about purchasing stylish (yet functional) pet furniture and accessories. Since North is a part of my life, he should have nice things that match our home, not stick out like a sore thumb. However, spending $130 on a food and water bowl might be a little much for me!

Besides Wag Hotel, I know I've mentioned before how much I adore Pet Camp here in SF where North stays when I leave town. And after reading the current issue of Modern Dog Magazine, I want to send him to a real pet camp now, too!
The Double Dog Ranch was featured in this season's issue of MDM, and I can't get enough of the happy pooch pics on their website!

For the past few years I've scoured catalogs, flea markets, and boutiques to find the coolest and loveliest decor that matches my personality and home. But you know what was in the corner, next to my Danish modern teak table? A sheepskin-and-plaid-flannel dog bed.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were hand-in-hand last night at the Freedom Awards in LA. The issue of modern slavery is one of their philanthropic pet causes, and they both took to Twitter to share about presenting the Modern Abolitionist award. The happy couple first posed for photos on the red carpet, along with other celebrity guests like Carla Gugino and Camilla Belle.

If you live in the New York metro area, you know very well of the Hamptons' reputation as THE place to be in the summertime. If not, you've probably caught a glimpse of the glory of the Long Island townships in movies like Something's Gotta Give and Grey Gardens. Unless you're a lucky dog who owns a home in the popular seaside locale, most visitors rent a Summer share or score a bed with a friend, as hotels in the area tend to be overpriced and lacking in looks (and personal BBQ grills).

Drug Warning
In 2007, the FDA requested the manufacturers of omalizumab (Xolair) to include a “boxed warning” emphasizing that this drug may cause a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). Health care providers need to carefully observe patients for 2 hours after they receive an omalizumab injection. However, because an allergic reaction can occur up to 24 hours after the injection, patients need to know the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to self-administer emergency treatment.

Superstars Chloe and Lucy had a photo shoot at their house recently, and the results are fantastic! They should totally be in a magazine. I'm sure Modern Dog will be knocking on their door any day now .
