Born on Christmas Eve, this threesome recently came out to public oohs and ahhs at the Denver Zoo. From this angle, I can't tell the two rascally lads - Santiago and Diego - from the lass named Cayenne but, sure enough, I easily see the cuteness. The zoo hasn't had any Maned Wolf pups since 1985 so, to celebrate their return, I've gathered up some facts about this species. Learn all about 'em in the slideshow!

Baby Hyena Alert! Kai Is No Laughing Matter

What Sound Do Red Panda Babies Make?

I'll get straight to the cute scoop: Meet Denver's new quadruplet Red Panda cubs, only the fifth recorded quad birth at a US zoo! The yet unnamed three boys and one girl entered the world on July 9 but the tiny creatures made a whole lotta racket at their big media debut.

With a love connection set up, under the Species Survival Plan (SSP), mom, Sophia was paired with dad, He-Ping since they were an excellent genetic match to help preserve the endangered species - there's less than 2,500 left in the wild! The babies will remain behind-the-scenes until Fall as they grow health and strong. After all, their thick fur coats help them live in the often low temperatures of the mountains of southeastern Asia . . . or chilly Denver, in this case.

Creature Features: Elephants Smashing Pumpkins

Elephant Awarness Month may be nearing its close but the celebration for Mimi and Dolly is far from over. These two lucky ladies at the Denver Zoo got a chance to play with their food, in this case two ginormous pumpkins, one weighing in at 425 pounds and the other at 660 pounds. The zoo's tradition of giving elephants pumpkins to carve... err, stomp... announces the start of this weekend's Boo at the Zoo and, from the looks of it, makes a special snack for the pachyderms!

The Results Are In: Cutest Zoo Twosome

With twice as many votes as the next closest twosome in the poll, topping the list for the sweetest zoo duo are Lara and Lucy, the Cottontop Tamarins born back in August.
The twins were orphaned and hand-raised by loving keepers at the Denver Zoo. I'm still finding the monkeys twice as nice and absolutely awwww-dorable being brushed with a toothbrush and fed with a syringe in cute closeups, so see why they're worthy of the big win in the gallery below.
