I've given you tips for combating inflammation, and after further research — along with your tips and tricks — I've gathered together some of the more unconventional remedies that can be applied post-hair removal.
I can't say I've tested them all out, and I can't even say that they're all effective, but most are simple and cheap — not to mention readily available in your home.

It's a battle: 'mo gadgets, 'mo problems. Well not so much problems per se, but more cords, and more outlets needed to plug in all those gadgets to charge. Which, then necessitates the organized geek's BFF: the charging station.

If you've decked out your home with hip and minimal furnishings take note: You don't have to pay a million bucks for modern cat furniture too. Los Angeles-based designer Peter Sehorsch recently took the kitty design world by storm when he turned a simple IKEA Stolmen system into a spectacular cat tower, and now he's selling the custom units for all the copycats who love his work. The Hollywood Franklin Cat Tower — named after his cat, Frank, naturally — combines an IKEA post and mounting fixtures with homemade platforms.

Abstract artist Mark Rothko was a largely self-taught artist who created large, abstract expressionist paintings. This photo, from Miles Redd's portfolio, shows a painting with a similar look in this home. While most of us will never be able to afford a real Rothko, we can definitely fake the look. Start by purchasing a canvas at your local craft store, and experiment with painting hazy, rectangular shapes with acrylic paints.
