Hey everyone,
I got three new amazing brushes and I HAD to tell you all about it. When I got the Urban Decay Book of Shadows I first used the two brushes that came with that. In this "book" you can find a crease brush and wonder brush.

I'm not sure if you have heard about Samy Pure hair care products. I am recently going organic with shampoo and conditioner (because regular ones test on animals and have harsh chemicals :S). Samy Pure hair products have natural ingredients, are sulfate free-no harsh chemicals, contain no wax or residue (it's not surprising how many shampoos have that), and are 100% vegan with no animal by-products.

I have always loved experimenting in the kitchen and I have been a dietetic (health reasons as opposed to moral/ethical) vegan for a little over a year now -- while my diet has expanded to encompass vegetarian choices at present because my budget is somewhat limited while on the job search (^-^) I do plan on following vegan guidelines again as soon as possible, but I figured I'd share the wisdom I've garnered over my year-long journey as the Big V.
Today I've decided to share my own recipe for home-made, Mayan Waffles; chocolate with a little kick to get you going in the morning (but don't let me limit you -- some of my best dinners have circled around breakfast foods). The special equipment you'll need for this recipe is a handy waffle iron.

As now we are well into the new millinium, there are a few things that we can do differently. One of the biggest ways to save the earth is going vegan-being a vegetarian is great BUT you're still promoting the pain and suffering of millions of animals.See,as long as you still eat cheese or drink cow milk, well you might just as well eat meat. What I mean is that you're only half way there! We can totally adopt a vegan lifestyle with alittle effort.I know it seems hard at first, but start with incorporating new veggies into your life, then slowly(or fast)stop eatting meat, then the last phase-no more dairy.See,animals on a farm have a horrible lot in life. Not only do these farms produce so much pollution, the animals live a life only to produce more.More milk, more eggs and tender beef.A mother cow has no time with her young as the males are taken away upon birth to eventally become veal locked in a crate they can't even turn around in!And chickens, well they get their beeks burned off shortly after being born. All these animals pumped with hormones, why,to always produce more.
I do,however, think that we can be a bright bunch of people in that we can change our ways for all invovled, rememebering that there is no"free range" for these animals and that we can make the change!!So,come everyone and believe me when I say-this is way of the new world and stomp out those bad habits of all that came before us and we ourselves.
And this is the importance of being vegan.

Natalie Portman skips out on the Oscars and instead is seen braving the New York City chill all by herself on Sunday.
Nat, 26, recently explained her decision to launch a range of vegan shoes for Te Casan: “Basically, I did it out of a lack of choice. Stella McCartney does great shoes, but they’re expensive and very fashiony.

the recipe calls them 'vegan oatmeal cookies.'
i call them 'wonderful little disks of chewy, sweet, delicious, cookie-like goodness that also happen to contain no animal-derived ingredients.'
these satisfy my sweet tooth perfectly.
