Activist and Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon, 61, isn’t a fan of the way Hillary Clinton ran her failed bid for the Democratic presidential nomination. She claims that Hillary played the gender card too often and calls her “a blamer and whiner.” Sarandon is also not interested in a hypothetical role playing the Democratic Senator due to her poor opinion of her:
You’ve played quite a few real-life people now. Would you like to play Hillary Clinton in the movie of her life?

The stars of the film Speed Racer were out for the premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in NY on Saturday night. Christina Ricci looked incredible in a one-shoulder black dress. I like the way she’s grown out her helmet hair or has added extensions, it’s hard to tell, and is now wearing it in loose waves.

Susan Sarandon is speaking out following the death of 25-year-old actor Brad Renfro, with whom she starred in 1994's big-screen adaptation of John Grisham's The Client.
"I had the pleasure of working with Brad when he was eleven in THE CLIENT. It was obvious to everyone that he was the sweetest, most incredibly gifted young actor to come along for some time.

Susan Sarandon is one of the investors in Manhattan's Spin ping pong bar, and it looks like she's not only an owner — she's also a member! I spotted her there last Friday night looking adorable in a pair of boots, tights and a short skirt as she sat with other people on the indoor bleachers and watched a competitive ping pong game. She was really into it too, laughing and cheering the whole time!

I took my Jewish boyfriend home for the first time this past Christmas. After delicious Taiwanese food, gifts and digestifs, my 5′2″ uncle walks directly to my boyfriend, looks up and asks, “Do you play ping pong?” to which he replied, “Yes, but I’m not so good.” “Oh okay,” my uncle said, “Keep practicing then.” giving him a wan smile and a obligatory clap on the back before walking away. Taiwanese Christmases aren’t the only reason to brush up on your Pong.

From the NY Post:
"SUSAN SARANDON, who appeared in three films last year and won kudos for her TV movie "Bernard and Doris," is still not a contented soul. She says if John McCain gets elected, she will move to Italy or Canada. She adds, "It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people."

Last Fall I went to see Three Days of Rain on Broadway with a friend of mine, and afterwards I got to meet Miss Julia Roberts herself, Paul Rudd, and Bradley Cooper. Julia was such a sweetheart, and she signed my Erin Brockovich DVD. Paul signed my Object of My Affection DVD, and all three signed my Playbill.

- You can either take the hard way and make your life better or make it worse.
- You can say never, promise, or always unless you mean it enough to say them twice. Winning without dignity and grace is not winning.

I found this on msn.com, very interesting tribute to Hollywood's greatest real-life romances. It's pretty lengthy, though. I hope you all enjoy!
