Hey Girlies,
I was just thinking about this, this morning and just wanted to chat about it.
How many of you are Messianic Jews, and how many of you still carry on the Jewish traditions, including Hannukah?
I recently found out that on my father's side (his mother to be exact), the family were Sephardic Jews from Spain.

Lately I've been asked a lot what I want for Christmas.
So, what do you want for Christmas? Or Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate!

In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the
Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the
Jews called it 'Hanukkah' and went to synagogue; the atheists
went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the
street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukkah!'

I promised that I would try to collect some of the education-related “Culture Wars” stories. Here are some high (or is it low?) points. Note that the first story goes back to 2004…this has been brewing for some time, and gradually escalating.

For Hanukkah, I bought my mother tickets to see RAIN- The Beatles Experience at the Philadelphia Academy of Music.
RAIN are Beatles impersonators, and that's all I really knew about them. Now I love, and I mean LOVE the Beatles, but I was expecting the show to be pretty lame.
