So... I'm moving to a brand new condo in Washington, DC, and have been searching everywhere to find a dog crate for my poodle Bruno that can also double as furniture. I want my new bedroom to look beautiful, and don’t want it to host the ugly plastic crate which I've been using for 2 years.

I've been doing a little [okay - a lot] of pre-shopping on Crate & Barrel's website, focusing on a rug for our living room. The room has very odd dimensions, being 27' long and only 11' wide, so I've decided to go with an area rug. Sizes seem to be very limited in the styles that I find most attractive and so I've put Photoshop to work to see which would work best in my room.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — A beverage company has asked a team to drill through Antarctica's ice for a lost cache of some vintage Scotch whisky that has been on the rocks since a century ago.
The drillers will be trying to reach two crates of McKinlay and Co. whisky that were shipped to the Antarctic by British polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton as part of his abandoned 1909 expedition.
