Barbecue Chicken Sloppy Joes
These sandwiches are indeed sloppy. In fact, you may want to eat them with a knife and fork! Buy a large enough chicken for the 2 cups you'll need here, and the leftovers can be used in other chicken recipes.

Went to see my mom this weekend and my stepdad barbecued this awesome meal.
The Jalapeno thingies are seeded jalapenos stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon. DELISH!!!!

It's the dead of Winter, but if you look hard enough, there's plenty of partying to be had. Put on your Stetson and head to my favorite event, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, for an epic barbecue competition. Or, for a true snout-to-tail experience, check out Cochon 555 in the Napa Valley.

I found this recipe on Allrecipes. I made it today and it was super good. I am only giving it 3.5 stars because it has no redeeming health qualities.

At 8:15 p.m, when Jeremy Shockey’s touchdown put the New Orleans Saints ahead late in the game, the crowds at Pat O’Brien’s exploded. Fifteen minutes later, when Tracy Porter’s interception sealed the deal, strangers were hopping up and down, high-fiving and hugging. And when the gun went off about 8:45 p.m., all of New Orleans -- and all lovers of New Orleans in faraway places – leaped, or wept or punched the air for joy.

Brrrr, the thinking on climate is frozen solid
Dominic Lawson (Sunday Times of London)
Here’s how it is down our way. The oil tank that powers our central heating is running worryingly low, but for days fuel lorries have been unable to navigate the frozen track that links us to the nearest main road. We would have gained much welcome heat from incandescent light bulbs, but as those have been banned by the government as part of the “fight against climate change”, no such luck.
