Whitney Port attended Target's Fall '10 preview in Australia looking her usual cute self. We love how The City star utilized her fresh styling skills, pairing a dotted Rebecca Taylor denim skirt with a ruffled leather jacket, swiss dot top, and girly red sandals. For accessories, Whitney donned a fringed gold necklace, bangles, and a complementary ring. We adore her spotty dotty ways, don't you?

Hats, Hats and more Hats!

I LOVE to wear hats and dress to the "9's"! I adore High Fashion - "Haut Couture" and create it may take me two to three years to bring an outfit all together so it looks just "so." Compliments? Oh, do I get compliments! Peole are always saying, "You look so good in hats, I wish I could wear hats." I usually reply, "Of course you can wear hats! All you have to do is put one on and ack like you know what you are doing!" Or, they say, "I just cannot put it together like you, I don't know how." To that, I reply, "It is something you can learn!" I go for hich fashion jewelry and never stop at just one necklace or bracelet! I even have probable fifteen to twenty five watches in different colors and styles! I mix metals and wear other colors together, as well. I have scarves, trim for my hats, shoes in many different colors and usually let my shoes and/or my handbag either bring in a 'pop' of color to my outfit or they match my outfit! Fashion is a blast! I am a professional sewist and design and create many of my clothes and/or accessories using patterns just as a guide. I love to share my knowledge with anyone who will listen. Sewing is becomming a lost art that just has to be passed on to future generations. It is NOT just for your Grandmother, anymore and the sewing machings available are NOT your grandmother's or Mother's sewing machine! If you are trying to sew on an old "dilapidated, shabby, clunker" of a sewing machine, throw it out! About all it is good for a boat anchor! Get a new, "do-something-for-you" Sewing machine and learn to sew. Lessons are available at your local Sewing Machine Dealership - DO buy for there - NOT from one of the discount Department Stores. Also, I am constantly on the lookout for leather - leather from coats, dresses, skirts, shirts, pants, shorts, jackets, etc., to design and make unique handbags, belts, jewelry, etc, I adorn them with "nailheads," buckles, brooches, jump rings, "D" rings, etc. Leather by the yard is very expensive and your color choice may be limited. I usually find my leather goods at thrift stores and resale shops and your choice of colors is incredible!

Dirt Devil Vacuum Accessory Tools Recalled Due to Laceration Hazard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Name of Product: Dirt Devil Vacuum Power Brush Attachment Tools

Units: About 987,000

Manufacturer: TTI Floor Care North America, of Glenwillow, Ohio

Hazard: Plastic pieces inside the vacuum tool can break apart and be ejected, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

Incidents/Injuries: TTI Floor Care has received 140 reports of incidents involving the recalled vacuum tool, including 12 reports of injuries. Those consumers reported minor eye or skin injuries and one thumb injury.

Description: The recalled Dirt Devil Turbo Tool/Power Brush attachment was sold as an accessory with the following Dirt Devil vacuum models. Only vacuum tool accessories with date codes J7060 through J7365 and have a C-clip connector are included in this recall. The date code is located on the underside of the vacuum accessory. The Turbo Tool/Power Brush tools are about 6 ½ inches long by about 5 inches wide and come in a variety of colors that match the color of the vacuum. The housing of the tool was made in clear, red, green, or light blue with clear, light blue, dark blue, red, purple, or black turbine fans with matching brush rolls.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Dirt Devil accessory tool and contact the firm to receive a free repair kit.

Name of Product: Bonne Bell Children’s Cosmetics Accessory Bags
Units: About 945,000
Importer: Bonne Bell Co., of Lakewood, Ohio

Hazard: The metal clasps on the handle of the accessory bags contain excessive levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested and can cause adverse health effects.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The recalled accessory bags are made of plastic and have a zipper and carrying handle. The bags come with an assortment of cosmetic products, which are not part of this recall. The model name and UPC numbers are located on the hangtag.

MEANS:
Don't buy cheap accessories that look tacky. Try to make them look better or don't even where accessories then if they don't match your outfit or what you are looking for. MAybe you have to change your outfit! Please comment below on how helpful these tips really are.

A vest or jacket is an accessorie.
Means:
Think outside the box for accessories! Like today for work I was going to wear a plain black T-shirt for work, but I added a white and black vest that is adorable that I got from JC Penney. I look adorable. Everyone has so far commented on my look. I added the right shoes that match my outfit. That is accessorizing! Take my advise and try it out.
