Travis Fimmel was born on July 15th 1979 in Victoria, Australia. In 1997 he moved to Melbourne to play football and study project management at RMIT University. His sporting career was cut short when he broke a leg, and soon after he began losing interest in his studies as well.

Travis Barker Released from Hospital

After nine days, Travis Barker has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, PEOPLE has learned.

"Travis is doing great and was discharged this morning," Burn Center spokesperson Beth Frits told PEOPLE Monday. "He has left Augusta."

The musician, 32, was admitted in critical condition in the early hours of Sept. 20 after a Learjet 60 carrying him and five others crashed upon takeoff from the South Carolina's Columbia Metropolitan Airport, about an hour away.

Frits said she believes Barker is returning to Los Angeles, where he lives.

Travis Barker Crash: Memorial Fund Established for Victims

Lil Chris Baker and Charles "Che" Still, who were killed by impact-related injuries in the plane crash that injured Travis Barker and DJ AM, are being honored with a memorial fund.

"With heavy hearts we offer our deepest condolences to their family and friends," Barker's clothing line, the Famous Family, said in a statement Monday that expressed "utmost sympathy and regret.

"They will always remain in our thoughts and prayers," the statement added.

A coroner in South Carolina, where the crash of the Learjet occurred, determined Monday that the pilot and co-pilot died from smoke inhalation and burns while Baker and Still were killed by impact-related injuries.

Barker, the former drummer for Blink 182, and DJ AM, suffered second and third degree burns from the incident but are expected to make full recoveries. Barker has burns on his torso and lower body and DJ AM has burns on his arm and part of his head.

Shanna Moakler, who is now back with Barker, released this statement Monday:

"There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time. We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever."

The National Transportation Safety Board has said the Learjet's black box recording device showed the crew were aware of a blown tire before the private plane crashed into an embankment on takeoff.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - A Learjet has crashed while departing from a South Carolina airport, killing four people and injuring two others including a former member of rock band Blink 182.

NBC News reported that Travis Barker, an ex-drummer with the band who starred in MTV reality show "Meet the Barkers", was aboard the plane.

He had performed Friday night at an event alongside Perry Farrell, the former Jane's Addiction singer, as well as Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM. It was not immediately clear whether any of those performers were traveling with Barker.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday from Columbia when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. She said the plane went off the runway and crashed on a nearby road.
Bergen said the Lear 60 was headed to Van Nuys, California. She was unable to confirm the names of who was on board the plane.

Travis Barker: I'm 'Healing Up Quickly'

Injured Travis Barker is blogging again – and this time he's got good news!

"I think I'm getting out of the hospital soon," the drummer – who suffered second and third degree burns in a fiery plane crash earlier this fall – wrote on his MySpace blog.

Barker, who has two children – Landon, 4, and Alabama, 2 – with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, says he's anxious for a family reunion.

"I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes," said the former Blink-182 star, who has endured seven surgeries. "The doctors say I'm healing up quickly and I'm going to be out of here before you know it." (The blog also includes updated photos of Barker's hospital life, including a shot of his badly injured hand making a not-so-polite gesture.)

The musician and his performing partner, DJ AM, were both seriously injured in the late September crash, which killed four others.

They are both in a burn center in Augusta GA in critical condition. Four were killed in this South Carolina plane crash. Wow. No word yet on names of the other four who were killed.
