Former supermodel Janice Dickinson insists all the wannabe catwalk stars who aspire to compete for a contract on her reality show bring signed high school graduation certificates with them because she refuses to work with inexperienced kids.

The catty fashion queen insists she had too much of “bony-*ssed skinny” teenagers, like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, when she was a leading model, and refuses to work with kids again.

Dickinson says, “Kate Moss wasn’t all that. She was this bony*ssed skinny 14 year old when I met her. Naomi Campbell was a 12 year old little girl. I have a 14 year old myself and I would never turn her out in the modelling industry today. On The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency I make sure they give me their high school graduation certificate and then they can go on.”

And she insists that her efforts might save the fashion industry another diva like Naomi Campbell.

She adds, “The model who has been in the most trouble has been Miss Naomi Campbell, with her anger issues. I was right there when her mother just turned her out when she was 12. You don’t let a little girl out in the world at 12 and 13 because they simply don’t know anything. It’s the same thing with Kate Moss - always having problems with illicit devices; a pure case of being turned out in an industry far too soon. Tyra Banks and Cindy Crawford have made it because they graduated high school and they entered the field with a parent around them.”

Janice Dickinson attacks Tyra Banks, verbally, of course

Janice Dickinson has accused Tyra Banks of using her book to give young girls advice on sex and drug use.

The catty fashion queen hit out at her model rival after spotting a paparazzi photo of Banks in a magazine carrying a copy of her book, No Lifeguard on Duty.

Dickinson claims Banks is wrongly using her work to help young people - and taking credit for it, reports New York gossip column PageSix.com.

She says, “And she’s using my book. I mean, the thing looks so worn it’s like she’s been reading it on the toilet. It’s pathetic. Where’s her originality? Does she have no shame?”

Janice Dickinson: Jennifer Love Hewitt Is "Healthy," Tyra Banks Looks "Fat"

Janice Dickinson, always one to speak her mind, weighed in on those much-discussed bikini photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt - and then went a step further, comparing Hewitt to Tyra Banks. (See other stars in the center of a swimsuit controversy here.)

On The Today Show this morning, Dickinson, 52, told Al Roker that Hewitt "is a healthy, not emaciated woman."

"These are unflattering camera angles on her," she continued. "You want to see someone who's fat? I'm sorry, Tyra. Tyra Banks is fat. This girl is not fat."

When Roker came to Banks' defense, saying he didn't think anyone would consider her fat, Dickinson backtracked, adding, "I'm kidding because I love Miss Banks."

Republicans Like GOP’s Conservative Direction

One thing for sure: Republicans and Democrats don’t agree on the future direction of the Republican Party.

Coming off a shellacking at the polls in November, the plurality of GOP voters (43%) say their party has been too moderate over the past eight years, and 55% think it should become more like Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in the future, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 24% think failed presidential candidate John McCain is the best future model for the party, and 10% are undecided.

Only 17% of Republican voters say their party has been too conservative, and 30% say its actions and positions have been about right, with nine percent (9%) not sure.

Nearly two-thirds of Democrats (64%), however, say the Republican Party has been too conservative, and 42% think it should look to McCain for the future. Twelve percent (12%) of Democratic voters see Palin as a future role model, and 40% aren’t sure what’s best for their rivals.

Fifteen`percent (15%) of Democrats say the opposite party has been too moderate, and five percent (5%) classify it as about right. Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure.

There is one area of agreement though: Just 11% of Republicans and six percent (6%) of Democrats say the party should become more like former President Bush.

Unaffiliated voters are much more closely divided. Thirty-nine percent (39%) say the party has been too conservative over the past eight years, while 34% think it’s been too moderate. For 14%, the party’s been about right, and 13% are undecided.

Regarding the future of the party, 46% of unaffiliated voters say follow Sarah Palin, while 26% like McCain. Just five percent (5%) give the nod to Bush, and 22% are not sure which way the party should go.

Put them all together, and 42% of voters say the GOP has been too conservative in the last eight years, 29% say too moderate, 16% about right, and 13% are not sure. Thirty-six percent (36%) say the party should become more like Palin, 32% like McCain, seven percent (7%) like Bush, and 25% are undecided.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of all voters have a favorable opinion of McCain, including 15% who say Very Favorable. Forty percent (40%) regard him unfavorably, with 12% whose views are Very Unfavorable.

For Palin, her favorables are 52% (28% Very Favorable) and her unfavorables are 46%, with 26% who see her in a Very Unfavorable light.

Again, the party differences are enormous, although Democrats clearly like McCain more than Palin while for GOP voters the opposite is true.

Thirty-one percent (31%) of Republican voters have a Very Favorable view of McCain, compared to five percent (5%) of Democrats. Nineteen percent (19%) of Democratic voters have a Very Unfavorable opinion of the Arizona senator, but only six percent (6%) of Republicans agree.

Fifty-one percent (51%) of Republicans have a Very Favorable regard for Palin, while an identical number of Democrats (51%) hold a Very Unfavorable view.

Palin fares better with unaffiliated voters, too. For McCain, unaffiliateds break 10% Very Favorable and eight percent (8%) Very Unfavorable. But 35% of unaffiliated voters have a Very Favorable opinion of Palin, compared to 15% who have a Very Unfavorable view.

Even right before Election Day, Republicans were happier with Palin, their vice presidential candidate, than with their presidential nominee McCain.

Just after losing the election, 69% Republican voters said Palin helped McCain’s bid for the presidency, and nearly two-thirds said she should be the party’s 2012 presidential nominee. Sixty-five percent (65%) of GOP voters had a Very Favorable view of her at that time.

Fifty-one percent (51%) of conservative voters say the Republican Party has been too moderate over the last eight years, while 56% of moderates say it’s been too conservative, a view shared by 75% of liberals. Fifty-five percent (55%) of conservatives like a GOP future with Palin in it, but pluralities of liberals (48%) and moderates (42%) say McCain is the model to follow.

Younger voters are more likely than their elders to think the GOP has been too conservative during the Bush years, but voters in nearly all age groups are more closely divided on the future direction of the party between McCain and Palin.

Just 15% of Evangelical Christian voters feel that the Republican Party has been too conservative for the past eight years, while 50% think it has been too moderate. By contrast, pluralities of other Protestant voters (40%) and Catholics (38%) feel the party has gone too far to the right.

Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Evangelical Christians say the party should become more like Palin. Other Protestant voters are more closely divided, giving Palin just a four-point edge over McCain, while Catholics prefer following McCain by eight points.

Tyra Banks and Jay Manuel not speaking on the set of ‘Top Model’

Clash of the divas! MSNBC is reporting that Tyra Banks and her “America’s Next Top Model” co-star, makeup artist and art director Jay Manuel, are not speaking to each other, making the taping of the show extremely uncomfortable for the rest of the cast and crew. Insiders are reporting that Tyra is totally phoning in her duties on the newest cycle of the hit reality show, and may even abandon it after this season in favor of her talk show and other projects.
There’s been no shortage of tales about Tyra Banks’ personality conflicts on the set of “America’s Next Top Model,” but the latest might be the most interesting since it could have a lasting impact on the show. OK! magazine reports that Banks isn’t getting along with photo shoot creative director Jay Manuel, and her days on the show could be numbered.

“It’s gotten so bad that Tyra and Jay aren’t speaking,” an insider told OK! magazine. The selective silent treatment isn’t limited to Manuel, either. “Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day,” the source told the magazine.

Net result? Banks (who wouldn’t comment on the rumors) might be looking for a new supermodel to helm ANTM. “She’s really throwing all her weight behind her talk show,” according to a source familiar with “The Tyra Banks Show.” “She’s putting lots of pressure on her staff to keep her show on the map. She had Barack Obama on, she had Hilary Clinton on - she got a taste of playing with the big boys and now ‘Top Model’ seems to detract from her big plans.”

My assessment: there could be a feud going on with Jay and Tyra. Tyra and Jay have known each other for a decade- Jay has been working with Banks since she was an up-and-coming runway model, and the two have always appeared to be close. They are both opinionated and have big personalities, and two people like that are bound to have disagreements. It’s no secret that Tyra and former supermodel Janice Dickinson had personality issues on set, but Janice is a crazy b*tch. Who wouldn’t want her to shut up after five minutes?

And what about the idea of Tyra leaving “Top Model,” the show she created? I highly doubt it 0 the show put Tyra on the map and it’s her baby. There’s no way she’d leave the show and let Jay stay on! In a recent Entertainment Weekly interview, Tyra admitted that her presence on the show, now in its tenth “cycle,” has somewhat diminished, but she still attends every production meeting and is just as involved behind the scenes as ever.

It seems every designer now is doing his or her own version of the off one shoulder, 80s-inspired, dress for spring look. So many of them are these tight form-fitting dresses. I just saw a pic of a celebrity wearing one. Do you like that look? I think it's simply put, whore-ish looking. Instead I like the look when combined with other spring trends like fresh colors, billowy material, and not painted on! :-) Here is but one example from Versace. Note it's about 20 years old. This is an example of how gorgeous, chic, and sexy a menswear look can be! This is actually an old picture. I think about three decades old, but marries five of my favorite trends: the short jacket, skinny belt, high-waisted pant, plunging neckline, and menswear look. With all due respect to Janice Dickinson, the model pictured here, named Gia, was the very first supermodel. (You know how on AMNTM, Tyra is always saying she's a Cheryl Tiegs, or an Iman, or Paulina?? Well, Cheryl Crawford is a Gia!) What do you think of this look? Sylvester Stallone Challenges Bourne

Sylvester Stallone has anther lame Rambo/Rocky/whatever movie coming out, and to try and stop it sinking down with Rocky Balboa, he’s dropping the names of some people who can sell box office tickets. Like Matt Damon.

He said: “I think that some young actors will look at me as this archaic, prehistoric creature because now we’ve become much more scientific, less personal.

“Most of my peers were very physical. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis - they were just more hands-on. I think that a lot more actors today are hands-off and they’re more intellectual.”

Stallone believes Rambo would wipe the floor with Matt Damon’s Bourne Ultimatum character Jason Bourne in a fight.

He joked: “Rambo would murder Jason Bourne. I’m kidding. Maybe the one in The Transporter though - Jason Statham.”

Hopefully this challenge won’t lead to a Rambo vs Bourne flick (has anyone seen Alien vs Predator II? I didn’t think so). While Rambo might be tougher, I think he’d have to catch Bourne first. We know which one is more intelligent!

The other things these characters have over the 80’s heroes is they have speaking roles. Does Rambo say anything during the whole first movie?

Checking out the new trailer on YouTube, it looks appropriately violent and features the obligatory hysterical female character. Don’t watch it if you don’t like blood, he’s ripping people’s throats out and all sorts of boy gore.

Yeah, I’ll be sticking to Bourne. Hubby will go see it. Probably twice.

Sly doesn’t address the Janice Dickinson allegations of him ‘juicing’ her with steroids, but I think the interview took place before she said it. Rambo hits cinemas January 25.

ANTM, C08E08: Jelinas Reviews the Portfolio - "Cover Girl Commercials"

G'day, mates!

Welcome to Australia. Um. "Mates."

So, the girls conducted impromptu interviews on the streets of Australia and shot a CG commercial in ridiculous Australian accents.

One of these days, I want to hear someone do a really bad AMERICAN accent. Just to see

This commercial was more or less retahded because, come on, when is a model ever going to have to fake an accent? For a whole commercial? For COVER GIRL? Please.

Either way, the girls were put on the spot and here's what I thought of how they did.

6. Jael (BOOTED)

Honey, you've gotta stop hittin' that bong in the morning before your shoot.

Jael has never been more nonsensical than she was on this ep. She's slurring her words like she's had a stroke or something. I cannot stand the way she looks at the camera during her interviews with this weirdly intense look, like, "I really had a great time on this shoot." *glares*

Huh? What are you glaring at ME for??

Not to mention that she didn't even seem to TRY the Australian accent. I agree that it's ridiculous, but you've gotta do as you're told on this show.

She was hands-down the weakest and she definitely deserved to be booted.

And, because it's the last chance I'll ever have to say this again: HER SKIN, PEOPLE!!! And her VOICE!!! GAAAAAH!!!!!

5. Brittany

Maybe I'm a c-c-c-cold-hearted sssssssssssssnake, but I'm not going to give Brittany a free pass just because she has memorization problems. I mean, it is terrible that she had that accident in high school and that it affected her short-term memory...

...but am I the only who thinks that she's laying it on a bit thick? How come she didn't bring this up during the acting challenge? That required memorization, too. So why now are we suddenly hearing about this terrible problem that you have?

And, not to be harsh, but, if you can't memorize lines, then you just don't have what it takes. Period. I have a handicap that prevents me from ever becoming a model, no matter how much I want it to happen. It's called being fat. Sometimes, you don't get the job because you just don't have what it takes -- whether it be good short-term memory or a killer metabolism (*sigh*).

Finally, Brittany, all the other girls have memorization problems, too. It's called "being of below-average intelligence" or, simply, "being stupid."

On the plus side, she did look pretty good. On the minus side again, I hate her lispy voice. She sounds like a freakin' kid.

It was really hard for me to rank the remaining four, actually. They're all pretty strong, so the remaining rankings are really completely subjective, based on my own tastes and preferences.

4. Renee

Renee is really pretty. Even I have to admit that. But, MAN, I think Tyra hit the nail on the head when she said that Renee was channeling the Crocodile Hunter (may he rest in peace) -- including the fact that he was a MAN.

Every word out of her mouth was exaggerated and that only emphasized the trannyish quality of the commercial. And, on top of all of that, she just didn't really connect with the camera. I hate to be vague (*cough*PANEL*cough*), but it wasn't at all cute or Cover Girly. It just seemed like a bad audition read, that's what.

3. Jaslene

Jaslene looked FIERCE. She looks more and more like a Latina Janice Dickinson with each passing episode.

However, she seems pretty uncomfortable with the camera.

2. Dionne

Okay, so Dionne can't do an Australian accent to save her life. At least she tried. And I think that, despite her commercial performance, she has a very good screen presence. She connected with the camera.

And she looked HOTT in that green eyeshadow.

1. Natasha

I don't think that there's any doubt that Natasha was the best performer, commercial-wise. Of all the girls, she was the only one who didn't try to compensate for her accent inferiority by exaggerating the little she had. Natasha did the commercial fairly low-key and natural and it worked for her.

She looked gorgeous, too.

Man, it's so hard to pick a winner! Those top four are all fierce. But Natasha's getting better all the time; I think she's quickly becoming the one to beat.

I still love Dionne, though. What can I say? I'm a sucker for the funny.
