I am an animal lover and I know that I sort of went into my feelings about them before in another blog, but I thought I would write another one. Just in case you do not know who PETA is you can go to www.peta.org to get the full aspect on PETA, but be warned, there is some graphic material on there. Basically PETA is "People for the ethical treatment of animals", which basically they state that animals should not be used for any kind of meat, fur, or be used in any way such as pulling farm equipment, having jobs, etc.

Marc Anthony will soon be starring with wife Jennifer Lopez in a federal suit that claims their guard dog attacked a flight attendant on a private jet.
Lopez had been flying solo in the personal injury suit filed last June in Brooklyn Federal Court, but Anthony is being added as a defendant after J.Lo’s lawyer gave him up as the owner of the German shepherd guard dog, Manhattan lawyer William Cafaro said.
“I was told by her counsel that Marc Anthony was the registered owner of the dog,” said Cafaro, who represents flight attendant Lisa Wilson.

the driver if we could help. No, he replied, there was no
trouble; he had just stopped to look at a map.

The change we need
After eight long, tiresome years, President Al Gore won't be missed. Even if he did save the planet
TA Frank
The Guardian, Wednesday 14 January 2009
Article history

Police dogs in the western city of Duesseldorf will no longer get their feet dirty when on patrol – the entire dog unit will soon be equipped with blue plastic fiber shoes, a police spokesman said Monday.
"All 20 of our police dogs – German and Belgian shepherds – are currently being trained to walk in these shoes," Andre Hartwich said. "I'm not sure they like it, but they'll have to get used to it."
