Tori Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott is already dreading his newborn daughter’s teenage years - and has vowed to be an overbearing and overprotective father.

The couple welcomed their second child, Stella Doreen, into the world at a Los Angeles hospital earlier this month.

Stella is McDermott’s first daughter and he admits raising a little girl has given him a new perspective on parenting.

He says, “She’s 10-days-old, and I’m already worried about when she’ll start to date. She’s so beautiful. Her dating life is going to be terrible. I’m going to scrutinize every boy that comes to the door.”

Tori Spelling Has a Girl!

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed their second child, a daughter, on Monday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Stella Doreen McDermott was born at 3:13 p.m. in a Los Angeles hospital via C-section. She weighed 6 lbs., 8 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long, a rep for Spelling says.

The couple also have a 1-year-old son, Liam Aaron. McDermott, 41, has a son, Jack, 9, from a previous marriage.

Spelling, 35, revealed she was expecting a girl in March.

"I've always wanted a little girl since I'm such a girly girly," said Spelling, who had an emotional reaction when she found out. "I immediately started crying. I couldn't believe it. I have my beautiful little boy and now I'll have my little girl! It's amazing.

The actress, who reconciled with her mom Candy after Liam was born, hopes to correct the mistakes of the past.

"Because my mother and I have always had a complicated relationship, I always wanted a girl to prove that the past doesn't have to repeat itself," she told PEOPLE. "I can't wait to be a great mom and friend to her."

Spelling recently signed on for a recurring role on The CW's 90210 as Donna Martin, the same character she played on her dad Aaron Spelling's hit TV show Beverly Hills, 90201. She's currently filming the third season of her reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, premiering on Oxygen on June 17.

Tori Spelling to Write Book About Motherhood

Tori Spelling is writing book tentatively titled Mommywood, a followup to her best-selling memoir sTori Telling, publisher Simon Spotlight Entertainment announced Monday.

Mommywood will focus on her life as mom to one-year-old son Liam and newborn daughter Stella with husband Dean McDermott.

"Writing my first book sTori Telling was an amazing cathartic journey for me," Spelling said in a statement.

"Now, being a mom of two beautiful babies, I'm excited to share more stories as I embark on this new chapter of my life," she added.

Spelling, 35, and McDermott, 41, star on Oxygen's popular Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood reality show.

The actress has also been tapped to reprise her memorable role of Donna Martin on The CW's spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210, airing this fall.

Former co-star Shannen Doherty will also be a cast-member again, the network confirmed this weekend.

"It is going to be great," Spelling told Usmagazine.com at the Much Love Animal Rescue's "Bow Wow WOW!" event in L.A Saturday. "The fans have been wanting this for a long time."

Tori Spelling: Baby was a happy accident

Spelling has confessed her new baby daughter Stella wasn’t planned - the tot was a happy accident.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star welcomed the new arrival, her second child with husband Dean McDermott, earlier this month.

The 35-year-old actress insists the couple definitely hadn’t planned on having another baby so soon after the birth of one-year-old Liam Aaron - claiming it was fate for her to get pregnant for a second time.

She tells People.com, “I was on one (contraceptive) pill and wasn’t feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!”

But Spelling is now considering expanding their brood once again: “We like making babies. Gosh, I always said I¹d be happy having one of each, and I still maintain that. But I wouldn’t mind having three.”

McDermott is also father to nine-year-old Jack from a previous relationship.

Tori Spelling has installed cameras in the bedrooms of her bed and breakfast.

The blonde actress - who is currently starring in a new reality show 'Tori and Dean: The Love Inn' with husband Dean McDermott, in which they run a hotel - is hoping the spy cams will catch couples getting steamy during their stay.

Tori told Britain's OK! magazine: "There isn't a camera in the toilet, but there is a bedroom camera. I think that is pretty cool because that's the most intimate place for a husband and wife!" advertisement

The 33-year-old is excited that her former 'Beverly Hills: 90210' co-star Shannen Doherty is set to appear on the show.

Tori said: "If you're asking me if Shannen Doherty is going to be the first guest, then yes! We will be having a grand opening night with the rest of Hollywood."

She also revealed her relationship with mother Candy is still frosty, following her TV producer father Aaron's death last year.

Tori admitted: "I wish things were different, but they are pretty much what they were at the moment."

Yeah..great. Hey honey want to have the grandparents watch the kids and you and I sneak away to a little bed and breakfast for some adult time and relaxation? Cool I found a sweet little place that has cameras in the bedroom..not the bathroom though so its cool. And HEY, if we have sex..they will put it on T.V.! that will save us so much time and effort sending the family photos of our vacation, right? How awesome is THAT!!! And it is owned and run by Tori Spelling and that guy she dumped her husband for after that super lavish wedding her ailing father threw for her and he dumped his wife..remember that lovely story of true love? So you know with those two involved..it must be super classy and professional!

And you know in the end only creepy desperate wanna be famous people will show up to be all fake and dramatic hoping to be discovered..or it will be the d-list of the 90210 crowd parading through.

Keep your money Candy.. she will just blow it on stupid stuff anyway and be looking for more handouts in 5 years. Set up a trust fund for her baby and make her continue to have yard sales and ridiculous reality TV programs!! It is priceless!
