BEIJING (Reuters) - Two Siberian baby tigers have been discovered dead in a refrigerator at a Chinese zoo, the second such incident in less than a week involving the endangered species in a country where tiger body parts are treasured as medicines.
State media reported on Monday that the baby tigers were found over the weekend in the freezer in the ticketing office of the Three Gorges Forest Wildlife Park in the southwestern province of Chongqing.
"They were born not long ago and are now dead," a park employee was quoted by the Beijing News as saying.

BEIJING (AP) - It's a dog's life for three newborn tiger triplets in eastern China. The cubs, whom officials at the Jinan Paomaling Wild Animal World in Shandong province are so far just calling "One," "Two" and "Three," have been nursed by a dog since they were rejected by their tiger mother shortly after birth, said Paomaling manager Chen Yucai.

BEIJING - Nothing says "I love you" like a photo frame made from panda poop.
The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base has come up with a dung-for-profit scheme that turns droppings from the endangered species into odor-free souvenirs ranging from bookmarks to Olympic-themed statues of the animals, state media and base officials said Monday.
The facility in the southwestern province of Sichuan houses about 40 bamboo-fed pandas who produce less than a ton of excrement a day.
