Biker Brando- Halloween 2007
You might think our 4 month old basset hound puppy Brando dressed as a biker dude for Halloween randomly, however he's really emulating his namesake. Check out the uncanny resemblance:

So, you may recall I mentioned that we met Brando's brother Norman, who lives just around the corner from us, a few weeks ago. It's such a weird coincidence and we thought it was hysterical, but it was a brief meeting that didn't allow for much information swapping. This is a big month for pet birthdays! Add little Brando to the list who turned one a week ago today – and boy does he look plum partied out! Phasekitty's furry pal keeps the hat on throughout his b-day festivities, and can even be seen licking his chops and staring longfully at his birthday cake in his party gallery!

Brando celebrated his very first birthday on Monday! He's growing up so fast! I made him the peanut butter carrot cake that Pet posted a recipe for last week and he flipped for it.
Final Follow up for Linus (am i a bad person..)
Well, just yesterday Linus has been rehomed to a wonderful forever home with a family of 4 in Maryland. I can't thank mid atlantic basset rescue enough for helping with his placement and for all of the helpful, reassuring comments from POTW members. It was a very difficult decision but ultimately the right choice for Linus and myself.Am I a bad person for wanting to...
I've recently discovered that my rescue dog, Linus, and I just don't get on. I've been trying since the day he walked into my home in August to make it work. But it just does not.What a crazy pet sitting experience!
Let me start by saying that I already have 4 animals in a small 6 room house. Two of these animals are dogs under a year old. The other two are cats.
