Super Tuesday's Super Snacks!

Liberty and Citizen have been all abuzz about this big day! They're so psyched, they've even come up with their own name for today's primaries – Super-Duper Tsunami-rageous Tuesday Extravaganza-palooza. Whoa!

So, in honor of the important political activities, I wanted to let North get in on the action and show his support with biscuits by Capital Dog Bakery. Treat your own "demodog" and "republipooch" with organic donkeys and elephants – just between us, both cutouts are peanut butter and honey-flavored, guaranteeing your pup will love you (and them) no matter what party your family supports! Best yet though, they can cast their votes every time they nibble!

Missing Mimi LaRue: Tori Spelling's Beloved Pug Dies

I'm saddened to report that Mimi LaRue died Tuesday of natural causes at the age of 11. This Pug was a beloved furry family member and died surrounded by those who loved her most including Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, and their two children, son Liam and 10-day-old daughter, Stella. So maybe the pooch was a lil overweight, but – oh my – wasn't she always spotted being super stylish all over the place?

I can imagine the whole family's devastated although Tori shared that her dog had suffered from medical problems relating to her hips and neck for years:

I'm convinced she waited around to make sure I had the daughter I always dreamt about before she left us . . . She was a loving pet and a true diva to the end.

What Happened On PetSugar This Week? (2/3-2/8)?

It has been a super week here on PetSugar! Between Super Bowl, Super Tuesday, and Mardi Gras, we've really packed in the info. We learned about the state of Louisiana, decoded doggie language, and a new winner was crowned as the AKC/Eukanuba National Champion. What else did we dig up? Out and About: Georgia's Hotel Indigo

If you're doing business in Atlanta with your pooch, the boutique Hotel Indigo is a must-stay. Located in Midtown, not only is it in a convenient area, it's free of additional pet fees! If you're visiting Georgia super soon, the hotel is offering a special Ruff Life Dog Package with doggie bed, doggie bowl and treats, a copy of Fido Friendly magazine, and a welcome note from the hotel's mascot, Indie. This sweet deal starts at $109 per night plus tax, and lasts until Dec. 31.

For those locals or animal-lovers planning a summer visit, this hotel holds a Canine Cocktail hour every Tuesday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day with drink specials and snacks for those on two feet and special doggie menus and treats for the four-footers, too!
