Inseparable Snow Leopards Are BFFs For Life!

These baby Snow Leopards are two of a kind! New to the Toronto Zoo, these little guys can't get enough of each other's company and have been inseparable since they were born earlier this month. Playing in the grass is their main pastime, and zookeepers report that, as soon as it's time for meals and checkups, they cling to one another tightly - one doesn't want to be without the other! I know I can't tell these little ones apart, but can you tell the difference between a leopard, cheetah and a jaguar?

The Scoop: Meet Emba, a Baby Snow Leopard!

Hi there, sweetie pie! Although this cute cat kinda resembles Zara the lion cub, he's actually a Snow Leopard. Named Emba, he looks like he approves of his enclosure as the public gets their first view of this 3-month-old cub at the Rostock Zoo on Aug. 19. Although any baby animal is special to me, this one's even more so since he's the first one to be born at the German zoo since Snow Leopards joined the establishment back in 1989. Sneak Peek! Meet LA Zoo's New Snow Leopards

While GeekSugar's still telling me about her version of Snow Leopard, I'm drooling over these two babes making a debut down in LA. Born on May 26, they will make a grand public entrance this morning at the zoo.

I can't see those big, bushy tails or inspect their spots up close, but seriously, how zoomed does one have to be to identify the cute?! This is surely close enough, but see for yourself below.

Snow Leopard Babe Takes a Flying Leap

Even though we got an early peek at these two babes in LA, that doesn't mean the cute stops there. Oh no, it definitely does not as I've rounded up a bunch of photos of the cubs to brighten your day. Already the lil girl and lil boy seem super playful with games of chase and tackle with a smattering of smile-pretty-for-the-camera tossed in.

Arctic Animals Most Active on Snowy, Winter Days at the Zoo

I wanted to melt when I saw these adoro photos from the Bronx Zoo! Cold weather pros like the Snow Leopard totally love the freezing weather – in fact, this season's a great time to check out these creatures at your local zoo in cold climates. Even though my personal favorite, Gus, lives further downtown at the Central Park Zoo, spot another well-camouflaged Polar Bear (along with a host of other creatures) frolicking in the white stuff in the Big Apple.

The Results Are In: Cutest New Zoo Baby

The latest tallies are in . . . and your votes named this Snow Leopard cub, Emba, as the cutest zoo babe born in '08. (Good choice since that face is pretty adoro!) I also wanted to give a special shoutout to Monifa, since the pygmy hippo's piccys were some of the sweetest I've ever seen (refresh your memory here). Let's be honest, what baby animal isn't absolutely precious?! Think on that while I'm awwwing away . . .
