The Scoop: Snoop Dogg's Dogs Get Grillz

With a name like Snoop Dogg, I don't know why I was so shocked to learn how many dogs he has in his household! Although he doesn't count any cats in his furry fam, it seems he got word of this feline that got fitted with a gold grill. Seemingly different from the cat dentures I heard about last week, the procedure cannot only replace missing teeth, but cap existing ones. In order to show his love for all those dogs, they'll each be fitted for grills sometime this month. Rumor has it he's getting a discount for being the first celeb to go all out with this process . . . and who knows who'll come next! Now, as much as I love Snoop, it's a little twisted, doncha think? HAPPY APRIL FOOLS' DAY! Although this cat did get gold teeth, it was to protect the abnormally protruding ones he had at first. But I wasn't joking about the number of dogs in Snoop's fam, see him introduce them in this clip below.

Will the Top 10 Dog and Cat Names of 2008 Surprise You?

What's in a name? A lot, clearly. Veterinary Pet Insurance, the country's largest and oldest provider, tallied to the top 10 most popular dog and cat names from its database of over 466,000 insured pets. Granted, there are tons of animals out there that are uninsured, but I can think of creatures with nearly each of these popular names that I either know personally, or that belong to a celebrity pet owner.

Denise Richards' Life with 17 Pets Is So Complicated!

It seems like having tons of animals is nearly a prerequisite for getting a reality show on E! – from Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood to Girls Next Door, multiple pets seem to be this station's norm. I admit I missed new show Denise Richards: It's Complicated when it first aired on Sunday, but caught wind that she had an unbelievable number of pets that were prominently featured in the first episode.

Umm, and boy is that the truth as her family includes 17 pets! Find out just what types share her property outside of LA when you read more.

In addition to her dad and two daughters living there, Denise Richards' menagerie appears to have plenty of room to roam on what appears to be a farm/ranch-style property! First off, she has three cats (Max, Billy, and Stan) who appeared to be rather camera-shy thus far. Next she has 11 doggies. I tried my best to notice and write down the various breeds I saw (I definitely spotted a Boston, Frenchie, Chihuahua, Pug, Lab, and two Cavs) but was unable to put a lil face to each name: that's Tina, Hank, Wally, Luke, Scarlet, Lily, Emma, Olivia, Sugar, George, and Lucy. Phew. Lastly, she had two oinkers, Charlotte and Bert, and added a new lil one this episode – I think she's hoping for some piggy babies!

The animals seem to be getting along well now, but that wasn't always the case – check out this old video of her working with the Dog Whisperer and tell me what you think about her zoo! I know I'm tuning in to see what happens with the pack next week.
