Well, the little oinker's super cute, and even popular with some celebs, too. This little piggy was taking a walk in the Barra Funda neighborhood in Sao Paulo, Brazil – where he met this dog, a couple more friends, oh, and the paps. It's hard being a pig. Check out Gabriel's gallery when you read more.

The Scoop: There's Less to Love With Micro Pigs

It's a pig party! Now we've seen cute little oinkers here, before but the latest pet craze over in the UK are micropigs, bred down from a mixture of the miniature potbellied pig, Tamworth, Kune Kune, and Gloucester Old Spot varieties. Fanciers say they can be easily litter-box trained, grow equivalent to a medium-sized dog (45-60 pounds), and are fine for allergy sufferers since they have hair not fur. There are a couple catches: they must be sold in pairs - double trouble? - and, at this time, only overseas.

Embedded video from CNN Video

Do you think micropigs will eventually make it big, or should I say small, Stateside? Just don't go making any swine flu jokes around the lil ones.

When Pigs Fly! Australian Pigs Show Their Stuff

I never thought I'd actually see a pig fly, but I guess anything's possible! Fairgoers in Melbourne, Australia have been seeing pigs fly for the past nine years during the annual Royal Melbourne Show that takes place in September. During the exhibition, pigs compete in races and diving contests to see who is top pig.

The lovely porker shown here is Miss Porky Pig, and has been competing for the title against other favorites like Ham Bone, Bacon Bone, and Porky Chop. Unfortunately, each pig only competes for one season, so this is definitely her time to shine!

This adoro dispenser can be attached to a leash loop and cleans up small messes or even wipes off those muddy paws before pups come back into the house. Lil Sporky comes in two colors and can even be stashed in a bag to clean off dirty fingers, too. Check out a couple more piggy products when you read more.

Lauren Schools Stephanie on Hamsters and Guinea Pigs!

Even if you're not a guinea pig expert, you know what those furry fellas look like, right? They are most definitely not supersized hamsters and, frankly, I don't even think baby guinea pigs resemble adult hamsters. However, Stephanie Pratt made this baffling comment on last night's episode of The Hills.

What do you make of this? All I can imagine is that she used to have a hamster that died and was replaced with a guinea pig . . . even Lauren looked surprised. What do you think Stephanie's trying to say here?

Creature Features: Do You Know Potbellied Pigs?

Pigs must have hired a great PR agent, because they are everywhere these days. Not only was George Clooney's pet pig Max coined "Super Star" by George, but he was one popular piggy with you as well.

Movies and TV have made pigs more widely accepted as loving and cuddly creatures, and are even making their way into your homes as pets. You may think you know everything there is to know about pigs – like they eat, sleep, and roll in the mud – but you may find some surprises are in store once you take my quiz and find out how much you really know about this pot bellied porker!

Is Your Dog Hungry Like a Wolf? Give 'Em the Poor Pig Bowl

The hunt is on! Let your dog get back to his savage roots (well, sort of) with this Poor Pig Pet Bowl ($24) from Urban Addition. Coming in either gray or pink, this number is not like any other food bowl - Fido gobbles up his meal from piggy's belly, and knows he's done when he gets to the exposed ribs at the bottom! Nom, nom, nom!

Like Urban Addition says, "your cuddly cutie becomes the jungle beast" when eating from this unique dish. Plus when he's done, you can hang the bowl from the ring in piggy's nose, creating a makeshift modern art installation in your own kitchen! I love it when things pull double duty.

Insanely Cute Alert! Piglet Kingsford Goes to the Beach (and More)

OK, so maybe you don't buy into all the teensy piggie hype. I hear ya - some animals that reach "fad" status, especially those praised for tiny, teacup sizes, can have health issues or be discarded. . . . once they grow bigger than expected. Now I'm weak for videos of nearly any cute species doing cute stuff and this mini flick of Kingsford meeting a cat, navigating the steps and frolicking in the water is too much to pass up on my dreary Friday. Check it out for yourself below!
