Valentines bring back memories of elementary school - agonizing over the perfect set of cards and the perfect greeting for besties and crushes alike. Even though it's been quite some time since I've handed out a set of notes on Feb. 14, my new stationery kick led me on a virtual love hunt for pretty prints.

Though it's there for good reason, the cone of shame certainly makes pups look rather silly while scampering down the street. Naturally when I saw this shirt referenced on my favorite vet blog, Dolittler, I had to hunt it down for myself.

Featuring a super cute smooshy, it comes in a wide range of colors printed on an American Apparel tee for just under $30. I can think of a handful of friends who would love this sentiment 'cause, while necessary, wearing that headgear during a walk in the park is no walk the park for anyone, four-legged or not.

I'd say Anthropologie consistently tops my list of craveworthy clothing but at times their price points are no match for my wallet. Sigh. Always on the lookout for a good deal (and anything animal), peep these pretty tees at 50 percent off.

The designs are based on actual portraits of actual dogs owned by actual Anthropologie staffers, but the actual - sorry, couldn't help it! - results are pretty darn cute for pet lovers of all types. Straight from the makers of those chic cushions and neat Blik wall decals, the people over at Pillow Pillow Pillow let you take your breed love on the road with organic cotton totes. After all, you'd look pretty ridiculous carrying around a pillow. Water-based inks make up the simple silhouettes (all based on actual animals). 3 Cute Kitty Things My Desk Doesn't Need, but I Still Want

Someone's gotta watch over my mouse. Get it? My mouse. Ha, I crack myself up . . . but at $110, I don't want to crack this kitty up. She better stay sitting pretty on my desk monitoring my blogging all day long.

Then, after all that typing, maybe my hands are burning up! Not too sure what a "Steuben Cat Hand Cooler" is but I'd love to get gifted one in my hot little mitts. But, since she looks rather sleepy, I'll let her rest up as a paperweight when not in use.

Lastly, catends look much better than my haphazard stack of books threatening to topple at any second. Keeping the set in order, this kitty is form plus function but with a healthy dose of feline fun! Looks like I have three more things to add to my wish-I-needed dream list.

Wouldn't you love to be faced with this across the kitchen table or office each morning?! I mean, I couldn't help but giggle at these silly mugs. Of course, I love the doggie one, but there's also a rabbit, pig, or monkey model if any of those creatures appeal to your human family members more. Why not collect all four for an in-home zoo!

Granted, I don't personally care for hot dogs, but I could totally care for this clever cooker. This cute pooch steams up to six at a time and even lets off a "bark" alert when dinner's ready - would I hear that at your house? Good dog.

Woof, woof! These pups cut soft foods but they're meant for tiny hands. Whatever, I'd totally butter and slice up my afternoon toast with doggie knives - the ears and tails act as hand guards in case I'm too excited while digging in!

Misunderstood like no other, "crazy cat lady" is a cultural stereotype that plagues women of a certain age with a few too many feline companions. My single pals with kitties often confess they don't share this fact with prospective beaus off the bat, just in case he jumps to an unfair conclusion.

Enter a new documentary, Cat Ladies - it shows four unique situations where women have "lives and self-worth have become intractably linked to cats" and aims to bring awareness to this phenomenon. We've just got the trailer for now but, when it's released, will you tune in?

Brilliant or Baffling? Fishtank Toilet

Seems fans of that fishy bathtub, can get a similar product . . . in a potty. Ha. While this fishtank toilet is still in demo phrase right now, it already raises some questions. Like, where do the swimmers go if you flush too much?!

Instead of the normal handle, users of this invention simply pump enough water with their feet to flush away waste and the fish stay afloat in the remaining water. Now I'm no plumbing expert but then where does the waste go and how do you clean and refill that leftover water?

I guess animal lovers could get a similar effect by installing a normal tank near a normal toilet (or even a picture frame up above), but this model still makes me curious to see how it all goes down once released. If the creation showed up at your local home-improvement store, would you give it a whirl?

Jonathan Adler's New Pottery Collection Is Totally Wild

Chic designer Jonathan Adler, who produced one of my favorite pet bed designs, is showing off his love for animals in a new way - with pottery and home accessories! His line of place card holders, pottery, salt and pepper shakers and lamps made in the likeness of whales, penguins, giraffes and hippos is right up my alley - it's all wild, baby! These goodies are available for purchase on his website ($18-$700) now, but if we're really lucky, we may see a few of the items on the shelves at Target. I'm pretty sure I've already seen the bull place card holder and snail napkin ring there already. Although the dachshund up there on top can't be considered a wild animal, he sure could use some love. Just look at that swaying back!
