Pampered Pals: A Bag Divided

While I can't say I'm a fan of the backpack, my shoulders appreciate any pet carriers with wheels. When walking long distances, it's the best way to tote a pet with minimal strain on my back. Even though the Trolley Bag ($178) is too big to vertically fit under the airline seat, I love the divider allowing you to pack two tiny pets or tote bowls and other key essentials under (or over) the adjustable shelf for other trips with just one furball.

You can wheel it under the seat slowly, allowing a pet time to adjust to the horizontal switch but at 10+ pounds, it would totally push most animals over the plane's weight limit - are you a fan or would you prefer something more compact?

Found! Bo Obama's Starry Leash

Lucky dog! First pooch Bo has a rotation of enviable leashes and collars - not only does he ♡ Obama but now he's showing off his true colors of red, white, and blue with a starry leash.
A White House staffer took the Portuguese Water Dog for a stroll around the South Lawn on Oct. 31 and I zoomed right in to find a pattern nearly identical. "Patriotic Stars" comes in collars (regular and martingale), harnesses or leashes in two lengths for $16 and up - are you getting stars in your eyes, too?

When you finish your dinner, you get dessert, right? Well, here's a sweet treat for the next time your furry friend gobbles his meal, or one that won't ruin his appetite right before - noncandy, dessert "snacks."

Pop a little variety in pup's toy box with crocheted toys coming with a couple lasting advantages. For one, they're usually harder to immediately tear open than the standard fluffy alternatives and the tight-stitches keep the squeaker protected from those tough chompers. Secondly, the cotton strands provide a natural flossing feature to clean between doggie teeth while they chew and suck on the treat.

Would You Use a LitterLocker to Discard the Poops?

Those with picky kitties will confirm: it's extra important to keep the litterbox clean and also key to tell what you're scooping so you don't miss a spot. But let's just say it's better seen and not smelled. Yuck.

Now dumping the clumps in the trash works just fine for out-of-sight, out-of-mind but maybe not out-of-nose.
