Hare-Raising Documentary Hops Into Competitive Bunny World

Did you know there's an annual National American Rabbit Convention with over 20,000 bunnies in one building competing to be the cottontail king (or queen)?! If the answer's yes, you're one hop ahead of me because, learning of this documentary back in October, was my first time. Regardless of prior knowledge, other than brushing up on trivia and catching bunnies competing in 4H portions of my favorite county fair, I've never seen a rabbit show.
But, that's where this flick comes in. Rabbit Fever follows six real-life competitors trying to win the top title at the convention as well as showing the world an inside scoop - shot over five years! - of rabbit raising and competition. Cuteness Continues on the Set of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2

Hola, Papi! The loveable, rescued star of the original movie is back on set to film Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2! I can only guess what trouble the tiny pups will nearly escape from (fingers and paws crossed) this time, but I'm willing to bet there still won't be any scrimping in the fashion department.

As you may remember, even though the other main canine stars like Chloe and Delgado had many furry understudies, just one pooch - real name, Rusco - played Papi who found a new friend and forever home with one of the flick's trainers.

What little girl doesn't love horse movies? I know I did when I was young (who am I kidding, I still love them!), and so did my fellow Sugar Staffers. I got the chance to screen Up along with my pals, BuzzSugar and lilsugar - after all, the movie included the super cute Dug, so I was there. Without giving any major plot points away, my favorite things - the "cone of shame," a walker's tennis ball used for fetch, and the collar translator for stream-of-consciousness pup voice - outweighed the negatives (some birdie abuse, "bad dogs," and one scary scene for animal lovers). All in all, the 3D graphics were stunning, and it's an animated film, so no creatures were actually harmed in the making! Check out some of my favorite movie pics below - will you watch?

Breaking News: Dug From Up, the Palm Dog Winner at Cannes!

Four paws up to the super cute Dug, can you dig it? The animated star of the upcoming Disney-Pixar 3D animated caper captured this year's Palm Dog award at the Cannes Film Festival! The flick, Up, features several hilarious dogs - and a ginormous bird - and I can't wait to see this pooch in action, especially after what my pals BuzzSugar and geeksugar had to say about their sneak peek and interviews with the director and producer.

I guess you can't give an animated dog a treat, but here's an e-bone for you, lil guy!

Nationwide Canine Casting Call For Upcoming Disney Flick!

If your furry friends have stars in their eyes, here's the chance for one lucky celebripup to get a cameo role in an upcoming Disney film, Buddies. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment hosted special casting calls in LA and San Diego over the weekend as part of a nationwide search for a camera-ready canine.

Participants were encouraged to come ready to shine – with two runways, Beverly Hills Chihuahua for glamorous furry fashionistas and a Bolt runway for all kinds of talents and tricks. If you missed this, find out the remaining cities, dates, and casting locations when you read more.

Audition slots are limited with sign-ups beginning at 12 p.m. and are on a first come, first serve basis:
