Blake Takes Penny's Basic Bed To-Go

Peek-a-boo, I see you! Blake Lively arrived on the NYC set of Gossip Girl yesterday with a furry friend in tow. Pretty Penny gets spoiled with sweet treats like cozy Winter accessories, and now she's being carried around in her fluffy donut bed. What a life!

I'm a fan of the basic donut bed, not only because it's durable and washable, but you can make it even better with a few personal touches. Just like a great wardrobe, start with the basics and jazz it up! Make it green by adding eco stuffing (once the stock stuffing goes limp and lumpy), and infuse your own style with cool custom covers. Besides, Blake knows a thing or two about fashion, so she's probably got a whole dresser full of fun accessories for Penny!

Irish Wolfhounds or Scottish Deerhounds?

At first recollection of those massive dogs from Gossip Girl, I immediately thought of Irish Wolfhounds. But, when reading the comments on Buzz's show recap, someone mentioned the Scottish Deerhound. What a rare breed indeed – at one point, no one ranked below an earl could own one – which would make it an appropriately elitist choice for the Archibald family. I'm still not sold either way but I found this video on YouTube of three dark and one cream Irish Wolfhound and two Scottish Deerhounds. Check it out and see if you can decide which breed best matches the dogs from Gossip Girl.

Surprise Furry Cameos on Gossip Girl!

Well it wasn't pretty Penny or Leighton's pup either, but I was happy to see furry faces on last night's Gossip Girl. First off, I know it's TV, but these dogs just appear out of nowhere – I don't remember much about Nate's home life but huge hounds would be hard to miss, right?
Perhaps the Archibald doggies live in the Hamptons year-round or were out with dog walkers for the entire first season. Whatevs. Either way check out their large cameo – unless Nate also has some secret school-aged siblings who use that lil home in the background as a playhouse, let's imagine it to be a luxury dog mansion for this duo.

I'm getting carried away but see more pics from last night's episode when you read more.

Found! Pretty Penny's Cozy Sweater

Snuggled up under that down jacket, it's hard to tell what lil Penny's wearing! Working with limited visibility, I'm coming to my own conclusions about the sweater – after all, I can see gray-colored stripes.
