If you're unsure of your local facility's current (or future) needs, consider a gift card or certificate to local pet supply or grocery stores or even office supply or home improvement chains. While many post specific, evergreen requests, most any will be able to use this gift to buy exactly what's topping their list at any given time, taking out the guesswork, and leaving your good deed in their hands.

Well, the decision's still out on whether or not you'd marry off your pet but, even if you wouldn't, how about giving a Gift Card Lab creation with the face of the best ~~man~~ dog to the happy (human) couple? While normal gift cards can be a tad impersonal, adding a picture of a beloved pet shows that you are thinking of them, too! I have a friend whose dog is celebrating his birthday this month, and I'm having a heck of a time finding a card to suit the occasion. I've seriously scoured the greeting card section in all of the shops within a mile radius of my apartment, but none fit for a puppy's second birthday. Fancy that, right? Someone was very lucky this holiday season, yay! Not only did North receive plenty o' pressies, I did, too. Since he's yet to master the task of handwriting (pencils = yum), I have to compose all the gift cards on our behalf. I wanted to find a little something special this year and these unique cards from Fire Hydrant Press are just what I need.
