I am all about polar bears (obviously), but I'm not sure how I'd feel about shoving this nearly four foot tall Polar Bear Book Shelf I found on Outblush into my apartment. Although come to think of it, it would be about the size of a baby Knut, would it not? Humm — like having my very own baby polar be .

Can you spot the piece of kitty furniture? Well, naturally there's not much to choose from in this picture, but the ModKat box is far from an eyesore in this scene. In fact, its style just captured Best Accessory at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair!

Plenty of doggies and kitties can be quite mischievous choosing to scratch, chew, or do other naughty things to your furniture. Just one of the perils of pet ownership sprinkled on top of all the positives, I'd say. If you're trying to protect your table or chair legs from claws, paws, and teeth, consider this investment.

To give you an idea of how it'd look in your similarly styled home (don't we wish?!), I've added the Le Corbusier-Style Dog Sofa into a room with the furniture it was inspired by. This pet resting place comes in black, white, tobacco, and grey with either vinyl or leather surfaces . .

Q: My kitty keeps peeing on a chair in my living room. At first I wasn't sure, but I know that stench all too well and several times it's still been damp to the touch when I get home from work. I don't want this problem to spread so how do I save my couch and other chairs?

If you're trying to add a pop of color to your place with accent pillows of pink and green, let your furry friend get in on the decorating action, too! The Pug's not included (obviously), but it's still a great deal: Any of the three sizes seen here can be yours for under $40. That's right, in a discount of magnificent proportion, these Twill Round Dog Beds are priced to go, go, go.

Ever since I came across the Plush Catnip Birds yesterday, I've become totally in love with ItchyKnee's cat goodies! Even though I don't have a kitty of my own, I can appreciate an awesome product when I see one. One of my other favorites is this Wall Barrel ($70-$120) that attaches right to your wall, and comes in some eye pleasing colors and textures.

I love a good sale, especially on those big-ticket items. Thanks to Kristyy, I heard about the great deal on this Entryway Dog Bed Cubby. Originally $699, the birch cabinet is on sale for only $499, and holds a little of everything .

If you've spent hundreds of hours and dollars trying to prevent your scratch-loving cats from destroying your fave couch cover, throw rug, or ottoman, then you know what a genius design this new scratchable furniture from Cat Livin is! It's a no brainer — your cats are going to scratch, so why not at least get some coordinating pieces that are going to stand up to all that claw-laden abuse?
Viesso, which makes modern, green, and totally crave worthy furniture on its own, has teamed up with Cat Livin — makers of the cool Cat Climber I featured a while back – to produce a line of scratch-resistant furniture made of high-quality sisal.
