Meet Moujik, Pup of the Late Yves Saint Laurent

When FabSugar was compiling her tribute to the late Yves Saint Laurent, she came across a picture of the iconic fashion designer with a smooshie! I guess Frenchie is synonymous with fashion – Fab's got Annabelle, too. This dapper pooch is named Moujik, (meaning a Russian peasant), seen here at the private garden ceremony after the scattering of YSL's ashes by friends at his Marrakesh villa on June 11.If you're like me, you may notice that the pups in the first two pictures are different than the current dog – turns out, Yves had a succession of French Bulldogs, always named Moujik! If a country wouldn't let the pup in, then this revolutionary simply wouldn't go, once saying:

We are both set in our ways, with out foibles, but most important of all we have the same tastes. He likes certain materials – don't laugh, but the sound of taffeta being unrolled sends him into a frenzy.

Ha! I'd expect nothing less from this legendary man and his equally fashion forward furry friends!

Christina Ricci seems to like to take her new pal everywhere . . . and, why not, he's adoro! They're seen here heading to CBS in LA – she's got her priorities straight with a Frenchie pal in one hand and a bevvie in the other. At first glance I was wondering why Ramon wasn't walking on his own. Then, after looking at her shoes (yowza), I've figured it out. Could you chase after a running, leashed pup with heels that high? Christina Ricci and Ramon Are Preppy Twinsies!

OMG. North is giving me sidelong stares as I squeal over this cutie pie! Can you believe this is the same fella we saw from behind with Christina Ricci at LAX yesterday? I'd never have guessed her new pup was a lil smooshy . . . and I love him even more now!

Since arriving in NYC last night, Ramon now sports this adoro sweater to hold off that East Coast chill. In fact, between the plaid and this argyle, they're definitely putting on the prep. I know you can't wait to see the frenchie up close so I've got a bunch of piccys of the duo when you read more!

Wishbone Just Wanted to Stop

I love smushed faces and I think Frenchies are cute clowns in (and out) of the ring. Last night during his moment in the spotlight, little Wishbone wished to break and smell the ~~grass~~ green astroturf . . . mid stroll.

This cutie pie could very well sniff some leftover mustard and hot dog juices from a past Knicks game - look how quickly he slams on the brakes!

Last week I challenged you to find animal-inspired or animal print clothing after I saw Hayden Panetierre's adorable "Adopt Me!" tee. I've looked through the bookmarks – you did a super job! One of my favorite items is the organic grevy zebra onesie, which was PetMarked by tdamji. Even though my only baby is North, this product made me super psyched about LilSugar, who is joining us very soon!

Ever since I saw this picture of Hayden Panettiere's adorable "Adopt Me!" shirt last week on PopSugar, I wanted to get one of my very own. Can you find the adorable kitty version of this shirt (hint: It's on ShopStyle)?

Globetrotters: Meet True Blue French Bulldog Pups

When a friend stumbled upon these pups, he had to send the link to me! I mean, first off, they're smooshies, and secondly, they seem to be a rather rare breed color. I can safely say I've never spotted a French Bulldog with this bluish coloring up close. Utah breeder Bullbank has the five pups from France we see here - although they're not up for sale, you can see how cute they are! Even their names are absolutely adoro: Shooter, Dr. Dolittle, Azurro, Rhadamanthys, and The Wild One.

New Puppy Alert! Samson Joins Sugar

It's not everyday that a Sugar staffer adds a pet to her family and, last weekend, LilPeaPod drove across two state lines to do just that! This absolutely freaking adoro pooch is named Samson and he hails all the way from Washington! In case you were wondering, Samson is a French Bulldog (like Fab's AB) and he already loves to play in the grass. I can tell his new parents are spoiling him with cute gear like this chic carrier and I can't wait to scope his smooshy face in person! The puppy shower is still in the works but I'm set to watch him grow into his puppy paws and get a firsthand scoop – and reminder – of the trials and tribulations of new pet ownership! Super-Cute Video: This Pup Can't Get a Leg Up

This smooshy has rolled over and, sadly, he can't get up again. He does have a rather large rumbly tummy to roll on over and, swing as he might, he can't quite maneuver back onto all fours. No matter how often I watch this video, I'm convinced this time he actually may make it!
