If you're attending a budget Thanksgiving dinner at a home with a four-legged pal, in addition to your potluck dish for the humans, this roast turkey is fresh out of the oven for doggies' delight.
Greedy pooches will get a bite, tug, gnaw, and kick out of this toy – after all, each of the legs and the body have a squeaker for five times the fun! Some will surely hoard turkey parts for later so detachable limbs are a bonus for stashing or sharing in multiple pet households.

Those aren't sticks, check out Antlerz ($19-$49), actual antlers shed naturally by actual deer. Outdoorsy company, Orvis, collects, cuts and cleans these real horns before packaging into a nonsplintering, eco-tastic dog toy for pups that have seen enough of the rubber and the plush. Would you spring for such a thing or is it a tad too lifelike for your liking?

Last night this pup made all kinds of history being the first Sussex Spaniel and the oldest dog ever to win Westminster. I think Stump's rather stumptastic and my favorite thing about this pup is hands down (paws up) this trick. Doesn't he look like he's pretending to be a stump posing like that?!

While I made my choice for a Boston Terrier partially based on apartment space, I can think of breeds both big and small that I love. I have friends that strongly identify as "big dog" or "small dog" people – and frequently turn their noses up (or down) at the other – how about you?

Both chocolate and sugar-free candies are dangerous for dogs — don't worry, that means more for us! Yum. Since candy goes hand-in-hand with Halloween for the (human) kiddies, check out some sweet treats for your furry babes, too.
