All pooch apparel is handmade and availability is limited - and we got a sneak peek of the styles last night on E! News. It's nearly time for this year's Academy Awards, and we're all gearing up for the big night! Buzz has a fun Oscar ballot contest, and Yum already gave us a sweet peek at what they'll be snacking on at the Governors Ball. I love the red carpet . . . especially the glamorous gowns! Even though, most of us wouldn't deck a pup all matchy matchy, there's no reason why we can't aspire to having an outfit for our furry friends that would make even a celebrity jealous! Last year, doggie designer Littly Lily created replica gowns for pets – so see how they measure up to the couture. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next! Howl-o-ween Puppies Dressed as Cats (Literally)

It's really cutting it close if you've yet to come up with a costume for your furry friend. When thinking about easy costumes for pets, I immediately thought of my go-to getup for years: cat ears. Simple enough for this Halloween grinch, but a tail . . . no, thanks.

It's costume crunch time! If you're worried the outfit of your (pet's) dreams won't arrive by Saturday, think outside the strictly Halloween box and go for a sweatshirt that can keep him warm and cute all year long.

I admit it: sometimes I dress up my pooch for picture's sake. After all, those wild outfits bring fits of giggles to friends and family and Halloween is the best example - I oink, oink, oinked at him all day last year and I still can't get enough!

Four paws up for PetSugar's Dress-Up Extravaganza, a place to share pictures any time your furball wears a fun ensemble, from Halloween and beyond. Even people who wouldn't ordinarily outfit a dog make an exception for a holiday's furry photo opp so this group lets everyone else in on your guilty pleasure.

I know this looks like a lot of steps, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze!

First of all, join PetSugar's Dress-Up Extravaganza.
Click the "New Post" button on the top right.
Enter a Title - like your pet's name - and click "Insert Image" to upload a picture of your pal.
If you'd like, you can add more details about your animal in the body section.
When you're all done, click "Create Post" to submit content.

So join the group and share photos of your adorable pets! I'll be posting a recap of all the cute outfits next week!

Crafty Community Member Turns Her Dogs Into Pumpkins!

I wasn't the only one awed by those dog breed pumpkin patterns - Community Member Yogaforlife made two for herself! Checking out the magazine's choices for inspiration, she created stencils for her Australian Cattle Dog/Smooth Collie mixes, Maia (on the left) and Benny (on the right). Certainly gives me hope that I can carve out some time to create a North-inspired gourd myself!

Cat Deeley Has the Eye of the Tiger

In case you haven't noticed, all of Sugar HQ is infected with So You Think You Can Dance fever! I'm not as big of a fan as say geek, Pop and Buzz are, but after last week's wardrobe I got a little more interested.

Host Cat Deeley wore a sparkly and very sophisticated tiger dress for their 100th episode, which left me scouring the Internet for similar animal prints. Check out some other cool tiger items over at ShopStyle that would suffice for any tiger-loving and fashionable girl.
