Check Out Our Pet Flip and Design to Win Your Own!

We recently announced our Design and Win Flip HD Mino contest so we decided it was high time we share our design for inspiration. You all know how much we love our pets and animal watching, so what better to decorate the video camera than with my very own pal, North! Check out our design here and get started on creating your own now.

To refresh your memory, all you have to do is go to the site, design your own Flip with a photo or design of your choice, and email it in to us at flipcontest@sugarinc.com! The next few weeks we'll be showing you cameras designed by our different editors to get the ball rolling. The contest runs from Dec 12-26, with the finalists posted on geeksugar December 29 and the winners will be announced December 31. It's the perfect way to kick off 2009 with a brand new toy to document all your adventures.

Any pet parent will tell you having the right vacuum is crucial for keeping your home clean and fur free, which is why we are thrilled our friends at iRobot are giving one lucky PetSugar reader an iRobot Roomba® 532 Pet Series!

If you missed out on entering the Worldwide Fido Awards over the Summer, have no fear – there is a new contest hitting the airwaves, and this time it's on the Today Show.

The Best in Show Contest will pit one "adorable trick" against another to win a three-night grand prize trip to Denver, and a photo shoot in US Weekly.

To enter, all you have to do is submit a video of your pet's best and most amazing trick online, or mail it in postmarked by November 6 to the Today Show. You and your pet could be seen on TV by millions! Will one of our own make it into the finals? I'm keeping my fingers crossed – PetSugar pets seem to be on a roll!

Growing Up Samson: Make Him the Cutest!

I'm totally not partial to one pet (besides my own of course) believing that every animal is super adoro no matter what the species! But when Sugar staffer LilPeaPod sent me the link to Samson's entry page on the Worldwide Fido Awards website, I knew I had to call in the troops to help him make a big finish!

If you aren't familiar with the Worldwide Fidos, let me fill you in: You can submit videos of your pets in any of the six categories (cutest, best trick, best voice, owner look alike, most outrageous, and best dressed), for viewers to vote online. From there, the top six in each category are tallied and flown to LA for the televised finals. The winners are crowned in a special broadcast and get to proudly wear the title of Worldwide Fido 2008!

Make sure you check out Samson's crazy cute video here and vote, vote, vote! Hopefully, we'll see him at the finals!

Add Another Contest To Your Calendar: Bissell Pet Games

The Bissell Pet Games Video Contest is looking for talented pets that perform, and thankfully, this is one contest you can feel good about participating in – the grand prizewinner gets $10,000 donated to the charity of their choice! The winner will also be featured on Bissell product cartons, and have his name in lights on Animal Planet.
Send them clips of your pets jumping rope, balancing on balls, or whatever cool trick they do best – I've got my fingers crossed that the winner will be one of our PetSugar readers!
