Would Your Dogs Sing Along?

Although my tolerance for too much barking is pretty low (I do live in an apartment, you know - too much noise and my neighbors would be knocking on my door), I could watch videos of "singing" dogs all day long. A clip of one of my favorites is below: a Frenchie that sings along with the harmonica! I'm not much of a singer myself, so I gotta give credit where credit is due, this little guy can really carry a tune . . . or would it be carry a bark? Holy Flying Fish, Batman: Fish Flies for 45 Seconds!

I had many fishies growing up, mostly little goldfish, some beta fish, but my fave was my one puffer fish that lasted six years! I was always intrigued by water creatures and one of my earliest memories of being blown away by an animal was when I learned about the flying fish. I didn't know too much about these guys, but I thought they were so awesome because they could do two things that I wished I could do - breathe underwater and fly! So, when I learned about a flying fish setting a new record of gliding for 45 seconds in the air, I was not surprised! I knew they could glide for good distances (up to 50 yards) and previously the longest time in air was 42 seconds set back in the 1920s, but I had no idea that they could even flap their winged fins to catch an updraft sending them soaring even higher!

Although the video is a little shaky, you can see a flying fish enjoying his time in the air as he glides alongside a ferry off the southern tip of Japan. Check it out below!

I can't help but giggle as the lil smooshy seems determined to launch a sneak attack on this unsuspecting flutterer . . . if Paul could just get over his fear of the ~~beautiful~~ big, bad butterfly that is. Now North only walks all the way around grates on the sidewalks and jumps over puddles but, if it moves, my brat is determined to catch it. What about your pets? I'd love to hear your animals' fears and phobias below – the sillier the better!

Well, March Madness is officially here and, in the spirit of things, I've looked for the best baller I could find to tip off the competition. Of course, when I saw a smooshy Frenchie displaying such skills on the "court," I knew I had my pick. Clearly basketball's not just for the likes of Air Bud – it seems like pups of all kinds enjoy chasing a bouncy ball of any size!

Waaaaaaake up! This silly kitty attempts a rather untraditional method to wake up his owner – while jumping on the head is a strategy many cats employ, this creative guy uses even more drastic measures.

Thanks to tawvry for sending me this clip – she may only have a pup in her furry family, but that doesn't stop Io from waking them up with what they call a "dramatic yawn." How do your pets wake you up?

You're Never Gonna Keep Parker Down . . .

Whether working on an easy ride or "Operation: Take Down Tire," I've gotta hand it to Parker for his skillz. Again and again (and again and again), he attempts to get a good jaw grip on that rope. He works up quite the momentum from the start but the highlight comes near the end of the video when he manages to wrap his paws around it. This advanced display of BT willpower makes me want to put a tire swing in my backyard (note to self: work on getting backyard), and see if North will take his lead!

TGIF and For This Adorable Baby Otter Video

TGIF! If you're already in need of some cute to get you through the day, here's Sidney to the rescue. This lil otter was temporarily living with a professional animal caretaker and enjoyed a wide range of dog toys. But, the best part comes when he finds the car keys - watch and enjoy!
