After that fun Jonathan Adler pottery post I just couldn't get enough of the animal home accessories. So I dug up a few cute things from one of my favorite shopping inspirations, Charles and Marie and UK design shop Slam Design. I especially love the Dog Magazine Rack and fish drain stopper.

We all know that with these hostile economic times, we gotta watch what we spend – you never know how low the DOW will go tomorrow! So in the spirit of saving some cash, I scoured the Internet to find some awesome items that are deeply discounted. There's no reason to stop spoiling your favorite furry friends just 'cause you want to watch your budget, but you may want to hold off on buying those $350 dollar boots for just a bit longer!

While visiting the awesome Heathy Spot pet shop in Santa Monica, I spotted these super cute Rope Toys ($14) from Jax & Bones that I knew North would love to sink his chompers into. Made from 100 percent natural dyed cotton thread, you can be sure that these toys are not only good for hours of chewing fun, but are good for your pooch and the earth. Not only that, but for each toy purchased from Jax & Bones, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Rescue Train Organization, which helps find homes for pets and operates a no-kill rescue program.

Although you may think this necklace would go perfectly with your new Fall bag you just picked up from Nordies, I'll have to ask you to step away from the accessory. Cause unfortunately for you, this one was made for fashionistas of the furry and four-legged persuasion.
This Cuddly Ruff Turquoise Necklace is a true investment and quite the treat for Fido – an eight inch strand is $350 dollars!

Fall is my favorite time of year, mostly due to the great weather, but it's really the season's fashions that get me all a twitter! I'm getting set for the weather change in my wardrobe, so it's only natural that I get North all caught up, too – he's one hip hound if I do say so myself! If your pet can still fit in a carrier, you're going to fall in love with Ella Dish's new line of bags.

Since North already looks like he's wearing a tux with his black and white fur, adding a tie would send him over the top! I found these super cute Dogties on Etsy, and for the $8 price, I think I might snatch up more than one! I never know when I may need North to accompany me to a classy event, right?

Whenever I hit the salon, the first product to catch my eye from the shelves is Bed Head with their bright colors and funky bottles. And now, even if you don't use Bed Head for yourself, you can indulge your pets!
Bed Head has released its own line of pet grooming products, appropriately named Pet Head.

For those times when a simple rubber band or ribbon just won't do, try a fancy bow or barrette to keep your lil pup's topknot looking top notch. Obvs my fella doesn't have enough fur for such fun accessories . .

Every year in February, celebs are gifted with swag beyond my wildest dreams at The Oscars. This year, the mother of all award shows has taken note of the number of celebrities with pets — and apparently recognizing how much we all spend on our little companions — Oscar included some pretty sweet items for Fido and Sassy as well.
With past people prizes generally being electronics, spa treatments, and fancy trips, this year the goodies also included some high-end pet beauty products, clothing, and things that sparkle.

American Apparel, known for its simple garments, hipster image, and activism in the community has finally gone to the dogs. Doggie clothes, that is. Recently expanding their line of pet apparel, I caught these while perusing for some new shirts for myself.
