New Product Alert! Wonderdog Birdie

There's a new collar in town from Wonderdog – hello, little Birdie. No tweet tweeting here but your pup (who's naturally getting a new collar for his Spring collection) should go cuckoo for these three items.

Featuring blue birds, red birds or pink birds, I love the contrasting background colors for each, sure to pop on coats of all colors. My only complaint: no harnesses for my smooshy . . . but they've got matching leashes ($36) to make high-flying sets for all the collar-wearers out there.

I was already a big fan of Wonderdog, especially since they make cute walking harnesses (which are way harder to locate for those noncollar wearing pups). I have fallen in love with Wonderdog! The oh-so-classy collars, leashes, and harnesses are slightly reminiscent of Crewmutts, add in a hint of Mascot, and a splash of NYC edge, and fresh out of the oven come these chic doggy duds. I'm especially loving the Smith Collection ($32) and have some plans to pick up a few for my own little pampered pal to sport around town.

Started in 2005, Wonderdog began by making chic pet beds, but found their awesome design skills lie in functional and fashionable accessories. What's better, you won't break the bank with Wonderdog with all of their collars costing under $35 and leads and harnesses ringing in less than $50. You can't go wrong with those numbers! You can pick up your own set at a number of stores around the country, or order online.

One of my pals is getting a new puppy and, in preparation for his arrival (or just total overexcitement), she has already dropped a chunk of cash on this Denim Bowling Bag ($170) from Wagwear as her first official puppy-accessory purchase. And, being the fashionista that she is, she wants to find a collar that matches the bag for her new furry pal to sport when they are out on the town, on their way to the dog park, or while lunching it up at a cafe.
