Hello Kissy Face! I just got my new pet-gear catalog from Target in the mail and all the cute stuff makes me want to rush to the store ASAP. While they've recently expanded their online pet selection, I couldn't yet find the Boots & Barkley gear (a private Target label) on the web. I thought the pastels were such a pretty palette, especially for new pups, so I scanned in the page to show you the selection as well. Have any of you spotted this stuff, or other new gear, at your local store? If you've recently bought something you love, don't forget to submit a review and picture to our Street Team group!

Yuppy Puppy Treat Machine: Spoiled Sweet or Spoiled Rotten?

North loves his yums as much as the next pup, but I don't think he has the willpower to cut himself off for portion control purposes when the peanut butters are in reach of his nose. And this totally cute (but pretty impractical) Yuppy Puppy Food and Treat Machine ($39.99) would let him help himself whenever he was ready for a snack . . . without ever putting his penny in! The oversized, bone-shaped lever works for paws large and small, and I think I'd have to keep it out of reach and let my lucky one test it out on special occasions only. Am I alone in thinking my wily pup would have it emptied in no time at all if I set it up next to his crate? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Take a Hike With Three Doggie Football Drills

I enjoy football but I'm no expert on the moves. However, since North loves his Orbee-Tuff pigskin, I researched some fundamental drills for youth (human youth, that is) and adapted them for furry friends instead.

Both Knees Drill Its purpose (for people) is to warm up arms, but getting down on both knees helps you get on doggie eye level. You'll be the quarterback, and pooch is the receiver - pick a target (near him but not at him!), throw, and see how close you get . . . and how quickly he grabs the ball. Don't worry, there's no dead ball rule when it hits the ground for animals.

Circle Toss Practice throwing on the run by running in a circle while playing catch. This lets a pup get extra exercise by having to both chase you and pay attention to the ball - and where it lands - at the same time.

Get the games started with one more suggestion, and a widget full of football toys, when you read more.

Receiver Concentration This game requires four people and one pooch. To make it fair for dogs, three humans kneel in an equal triangle formation (instead of standing) with about five feet between each other. The fourth tosses the ball gently and slowly in the middle of the triangle, and the trick's to see who can grab it first, person or pet.

Is Your Kitty a Red Devil?

Kitties can celebrate their own Meow-lo-ween, just don't get crazy with the costumes. Most finicky felines will protest a full-body suit with their paws and claws but a simple hat? Sure, why not. I know of a whole group dedicated to cats in hats you bought at Target and my recent trip to this superstore turned up some amazing results.

Sadly, I couldn't find the exact models online, but these caps come close to the cuteness. With black/white or brown/black stripes with the Red Horns, is $30 too much to buy in to this photo opp?
