Who Else Is Hoping To See Charlie On The Hills?!

With The Hills returning in just a few weeks, I'm admittedly sad that we won't be glimpsing cute Chloe this season (with no Lauren). Now I know this show has more animal lovers and Stephanie Pratt recently told People Pets about her one-year-old rescue named Charlie - what a cutie!

She's no stranger to furry family members, though:

I had every single type of animal growing up. I had a guinea pig, and even got a horse for Christmas once. My whole family truly loves animals.

Now I knew she had a guinea pig (or was it a hamster?) from an episode last season and I'm hoping we see Charlie when the show kicks back up again. Any bets on the likelihood of his small-screen debut?

Largest Snake in Captivity Makes His Debut With Conan O'Brien!

Creepy crawlers blasted onto Conan last Friday - did you catch the episode? If you were loving that gigantic cockroach and feel the need to spy more reptiles and insects, check out the animals presented on this late-night show. Clearly Conan wasn't as into getting a close-up as the expert, Nigel Marven, but I loved seeing the animals (especially "Percival") - with appearances from a Goliath spider with a 10-inch leg span, a rare double-headed snake, and the largest python in captivity (365 pounds!), see the creatures . . . with only minimal blood lost in the process.

Hand-Dyed Dog Collars For Just $35!

I first learned about Jon Wye during my chat with The Lazy Environmentalist - although they're best known for a line of leather belts, he also offers some super-unique doggie collars by FREDFRED. Priced at $35, the leather is 100 percent full grain (no composite here) and all designs are hand-dyed with numerous layers to get the rich hues and shades in each item. They've got a bunch of unique patterns and designs, but I've gotta go bananas - monkey see, monkey do. No matter what pattern you choose for your pup they're all coated with the same treatment that covers your car's leather upholstery. So no matter the messes he gets in, the pretty piece's protected.

This dog has definitely not gone off the deep end; in fact, he seems rather hesitant to even puppy paddle in the shallow looking water. However, what's a brainy pet to do when there's a ball in the horizon?

The water looks pretty dingy so I can't say I blame him for this problem-solving technique - way to make a figurative splash while (not) making a literal one, smarty pooch!

Growing up alongside a furry friend makes her just like family, and it's never easy to lose a pet. When the latest episode of the Bravo reality show, NYC Prep (don't judge me!), shows one household lose their beloved 11-year-old dog, my heart went out to 16-year-old Kelli who had grown up alongside the fluffy pup.

It had been mentioned earlier that Lily was on a treatment including steroids and acupuncture with two herniated discs, and they later host a pet funeral at a pet cemetery in Long Island. To see the rest of the scene, read more.

Follow host Josh Dorfman on a quest to save the planet - "one wasteful couch potato at a time" - with his new show The Lazy Environmentalist! Premiering tonight (June 16, 9 p.m.) on the Sundance Channel, the premise is that most people would live an earth-friendly lifestyle. . . . if it were as easy and cost effective as their current choices.

For the first episode, Josh tackles dog grooming and suggests these two natural products. I've seen that facial ($17) before and turns out the blueberries naturally brighten white fur - counterintuitive, huh? The second product was "neem." Coming from the seeds of a tree found in tropical and semitropical countries like Burma and India, including this botanical pesticide in a shampoo ($14) deters bugs and reduces the risk of resulting dermatitis and infections.
