If you missed Saturday's season finale of Groomer Has It (season two), the big winner was Huber! Sap that I am, I totally teared up at his acceptance speech where he thanked his grandfather. If you watched the show, or consider yourself a doggone expert, see if you can identify the six "rare breeds" that he and Lisa groomed for their final challenge.

Lemme guess the worst part of pet bath time at your house: that water shook all over you, a telltale wet dog smell, or perhaps holding your pet still enough to rinse out the shampoo? Seems many of my trickiest times come from water anyway. While there's perfume and waterless spray shampoo in a pinch, there's another household product found in your kitchen: cornstarch!

From cleaning pigs as the Quick Sniff Challenge to dealing with overweight pets in the end, last Saturday's Groomer Has It focused on animals with a few extra pounds to love. The six remaining contestants tackled "anatomy grooming," trimming a pet to mask the flab. While hiding may make a pooch look better, it doesn't solve the problem .

Every dog has his day as last week's Groomer Has It pampered some older pups aged 8 and up. Special guest Janice Dickinson helped the regular judges decide who did the best (and worst job) on furry models from the Humane Animal Rescue Team. I gathered up some of their tips — and added a few of my own — for bathing and grooming senior dogs at home.

Instead of recapping Saturday's Groomer Has It, I've got a question about the Quick Sniff Challenge winners (seen here). If you missed the show, each group of three had to come up with a new product to simplify grooming for the average consumer and the combo of Lisa, Bill, and Danielle created this "Table Trainer" prototype, with a suggested retail price of $30.Basically, it's a grooming arm that attaches to any washer and dryer top via magnet. Since it's recommended to groom a pooch up high anyway – as opposed to on the ground – this type of tool would come in handy, provided you knew how to use it properly.

Rather than recap the entire Groomer Has It episode, I've got a question for you, whether you've tuned in or not. The remaining 10 groomers had to work with some very, very demanding clients – high maintenance pets are nothing compared to high maintenance owners! Singing opera, displaying mommy's picture or offering bottled water every 10 minutes, it was Jessica and Sherri who came out on the bottom of the pack for their grooming challenge.

Drama, drama and more drama with clear cliques forming just two episodes in! Since Jessica's mistake last week sent Michael home, she seemed to be in danger this time around. However, after she (and Krista) won the first challenge, they were in the top spot of being able to first pick their pups and assign the others.Naturally they tried to give the most difficult jobs to their enemies but, in the end, Krista and Chicken Joe ended up in the bottom two.
