Do You Know These Poisonous Fall Bloomers?

Fall's coming and although we've tackled poisonous Summer wildflowers, that season's (sadly) almost done. Let's get into the Fall spirit by looking at more flowers - each of these either begin blooming in autumn or continue through September (or later!) in some climates, so check out the pretty plants and see how well you do!

New Product Alert! Beantown Handmade Neck Warmers

I already fell in love with Beantown Handmade's adorable doggie caps, but I can't imagine North getting much use out of one, save an awesome photo op. However, my sneak peek at their Fall Neck Warmers has me wondering if my pooch has a cold neck?! I consider myself way up there in the pet pampering department, and don't want my lil boy to be chilly.

Modeled by cute pup Bean, there's a Homecoming Night version ($16) on the left and an organic cotton one ($18) on the right. Yet, hands down (and necks covered), my personal favorite is The Shakespeare - it was created since their Boston would hide behind human legs on wintery walks, and has a limited-time price of $14 with eight colors to choose from. Guess that doggie scarf trend isn't going away anytime soon!

Bare Bones: Reflective Gear

Now that it's nearly dark by the time I get home from work, it's time to start thinking about reflective gear for my four legged pal. Holy Puffer! Mascot's Cold Weather Must Haves

Trend Setters: Crewmutts Get True Blue For Fall

Brrr, can you feel that nip in the air? I know North can so I want my peppy, preppy pup to take advantage of furry Fall fashions – cooler colors and warm knits. This season's Crewmutts (from J. Crew) line now offers some great blue totes, textured sweaters, and darker madras styles. You may recall their summery madras of seasons past, but the latest versions also have a removable sherpa lining for additional warm cozies heading straight into Winter.

Some pets can't get enough of leaf piles, but my scaredy pup doesn't like stepping on any surface that's not solid and definitely won't wade through masses of anything. However he will chase and chew anything that falls from trees including twigs and leaves – how about your furry friends?

This pup is on the ball . . . if only she could find it. To honor Autumn's arrival, check out Honey doing dives to locate that elusive round, fuzzy toy in a pile of leaves.

So cute! It's like this season's version of wintertime ball-hunting in the snow. Do your furry friends love to play outdoors in heaps of fallen leaves, too?

Sienna and Bess Have a Girls' Day Out

Just two gals out for a Fall stroll, nothing to see here. Oh, who I am kidding, I'm happy to see so much of Sienna and Bess stateside, with her favorite red leash! I'm missing Porgy, but are you secretly hoping he's home with Jude?
Whether or not they're sharing custody, or if she's just not a fan of juggling two leashes, I hope her other dog has an equally fancy leash - while a vegetable-dyed, Eco-Leather Flat Stitch Lead ($26) in red looks smashing against dark fur, I think the lighter-colored pup would look dashing in a forest green hue to make the color pop!

Do Tell: Do Falling Temperatures Change Your Routine?

Since we're rather temperate out in SF, North still enjoys his trips to Baker Beach . . . but stays far away from the now-chilly water save a few sniffs. When the temperatures drop in your neck of the woods, how do you alter your pup's fitness routine, be it shorter trips outdoors or active indoor alternatives?
