With the passing of Gidget, I'm wondering if there will be a rush to claim a piece of her past in the form of key chains, talking toys, and t-shirts all over the Internet. Take these tees for example, the doggie-sized shirts come in three colors ($15) and commemorate the classic commercial on your own pets.
My quick search found a pretty big selection still up for grabs on eBay and, if you're interested, there are open auctions to bring the original merchandise to your house.

I got very nostalgic when I found this month's Bark magazine to have a spread on the old-timey carnival chalkware figurines. My grandmother had a collection of these and I remember looking at them through the glass of an old oak display case. Given away as Midway prizes in the '40s and '50s, you really can't find many of these around anymore (except for Ebay and maybe a few antique shops of course), but I still get a smile on my face looking at the soft colors of the animal trinkets.

I know I'm running full steam ahead for Spring when all I can think about are birds! I've not only been talking about feeding the wild ones lately, but wearing them on my clothes as well. North loves birds too .

Am I the only one getting flashbacks here?! As soon as I saw the pictures for the new Bowlingual, I remembered the original device from several years back. Hailed as one of the best inventions of 2002 by Time magazine, this device was said to take your pups' barks, growls, and whines and translate them for you.

Two words 'cause it's on: Bo Mania. While I love glimpsing the cute pup in piccys, I'm not sure I'd want a stuffed version. Or maybe I'm just telling myself this since Bo the Beanie Baby is pretty darn unavailable, selling out within hours of going on sale on Apr.

So the other day I asked if your furry friends have any favorite toys. Seems like Samson's not the only one, as many of you shared about your pets' best snuggle buddies.
I noticed in the comments that a couple of your pets like Eegor and Ruby enjoy sucking on toys, too.

It's hard for me to wrap my head around the sweet swag celebrities get for themselves and their furry friends. Not just at award shows either. Recently, famous pet owners from Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart to Jessica Simpson and Sarah Jessica Parker were mailed these fab Smooch-a-Pooch Doggie Bags.

Remember that piccy of Elizabeth Taylor and her (maybe) all grown-up puppies? Well, I did a little hunting around and have found a way for you to get the same collar for your furry friends. It seems like the Burberry collar is perpetually sold out online these days, but I've located one for you on eBay with the current bid at just $39!
