Four paws up to the super cute Dug, can you dig it? The animated star of the upcoming Disney-Pixar 3D animated caper captured this year's Palm Dog award at the Cannes Film Festival! The flick, Up, features several hilarious dogs — and a ginormous bird — and I can't wait to see this pooch in action, especially after what my pals BuzzSugar and geeksugar had to say about their sneak peek and interviews with the director and producer.

I couldn't pass up the chance to see a press screening of Beverly Hills Chihuahua earlier this week – after all, I love dogs and totally will watch a film just for featured furballs. There were tons of super-cute pups and I was totally entertained by the talking animals and fab fashions (more on that later). The movie opens in theaters tomorrow (Oct.

My last visit to the actual Westminster Dog Show was back in 2004, but I had a blast! It is rare to see that many dogs in one place at one time and, while there were some pups out of the ring not on their best behavior yet, that certainly wasn't the case come show time. In this cute clip, Mickey has show dreams for Pluto, but how far will they get .

Happy Birthday Walt Disney! In honor of his birth way back in 1901, can you guess the name of this character from a new Disney film?

It's such a bummer when you consider a four legged animal a member of your family, but yet there are some places that still don't allow them to roam around with you. Disneyland and Disney World are two of the "happiest places on earth" but unfortunately, the happiness doesn't apply to your furry friends. At least the happiness inside the park anyway!

I got the chance to screen Up along with my pals, BuzzSugar and lilsugar — after all, the movie included the super cute Dug, so I was there. Without giving any major plot points away, my favorite things — the "cone of shame," a walker's tennis ball used for fetch, and the collar translator for stream-of-consciousness pup voice — outweighed the negatives (some birdie abuse, "bad dogs," and one scary scene for animal lovers). All in all, the 3D graphics were stunning, and it's an animated film, so no creatures were actually harmed in the making!

If your furry friends have stars in their eyes, here's the chance for one lucky celebripup to get a cameo role in an upcoming Disney film, Buddies. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment hosted special casting calls in LA and San Diego over the weekend as part of a nationwide search for a camera-ready canine.
Participants were encouraged to come ready to shine – with two runways, Beverly Hills Chihuahua for glamorous furry fashionistas and a Bolt runway for all kinds of talents and tricks.

I’ve always been fascinated by Dalmatians: They’re high-energy, they’re trivia makers (no other purebred dog breed features distinctive spotted markings!) and, they were made infamous in one of my favorite pet flicks.
March 4 Disney will release the original classic animated film 101 Dalmatians from the legendary Vault for the first time on two disc platinum edition DVD. It includes pawesome bonus features including the “Virtual Dalmatians” game where you can adopt, train and play with your very own puppy.
