Creepy crawlers blasted onto Conan last Friday — did you catch the episode? If you were loving that gigantic cockroach and feel the need to spy more reptiles and insects, check out the animals presented on this late-night show. Clearly Conan wasn't as into getting a close-up as the expert, Nigel Marven, but I loved seeing the animals (especially "Percival") — with appearances from a Goliath spider with a 10-inch leg span, a rare double-headed snake, and the largest python in captivity (365 pounds!), see the creatures .

It's really cutting it close if you've yet to come up with a costume for your furry friend. When thinking about easy costumes for pets, I immediately thought of my go-to getup for years: cat ears. Simple enough for this Halloween grinch, but a tail .

Since we're not mentioning a certain animal that begins with a "C" and ends with an "at" (along with our pals over at Urlesque), peek at these equally adorable animals taking their place as impostors. Meooowoof!

Admittedly, I often check my pampered pup into a pooch hotel (when he can't come along) though not quite as fancy as the deluxe room at D Pet Hotels — it has a bigger bed and flat screen than my actual apartment. Nevertheless, when I get my bill, I still wonder how many features lil North truly appreciates (play group, most definitely; blueberry facial, probably not). So I can't help cracking up at Triumph's behind-the-scenes doggie take at this Hollywood resort — Be warned, there is cursing .
