Jada Celebrates The Dog Whisperer's 100th Episode With Cesar

Whether or not you'd love to sign up for Cesar Millan's services, the dog behaviorist has quite a few celebrity backers, including Jada Pinkett Smith, seen here at the 100th episode celebration for The Dog Whisperer in Hollywood on Sept. 17.

The actress recently called for Cesar's help after her pooch, Rocco, was killed by a rattlesnake at her Malibu home - he helped the Smiths' remaining dogs learn to be wary of snakes and I can't wait to see his techniques . . . 'cause I know how dangerous poisonous snakes can be! Although I don't think she'll be included in the 100th episode (airing Friday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel), I'll let you know when you can catch his snake strategy yourselves.

Tune In Tonight: Kathy Griffin Visits the Dog Whisperer

Tonight's new episode of Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer will feature comedienne Kathy Griffin, who is on a quest to get her two beautiful, but mischievous rescue dogs to behave and curb their barking.

Her dogs, Chance, an 8-year-old male Lab and chow mix, and Pom Pom, a 3-year-old female Lab mix, are both regulars on her show My Life on the D List . . . and give the impression they flunked puppy school big time. The dogs don't come when she calls, and they get so territorial around other dogs that it's impossible to get their attention or keep them from barking, according to Critics and Monsters. The show airs at 9 p.m. ET, so set your TiVo for all the antics.

Not only does Cesar Millan help train Oprah to be the pack leader of her pampered pups (including helping beloved Sophie socialize with other dogs before she passed away), but he can help train you to do the same . . . online!

Cesar's new interactive training course is hitting his website in June to help you get calm and assertive with your pets, but you can sign up now for email alerts to get a head's up before it hits the web. I've watched almost every episode of the hit National Geographic show, so this course is a welcome distraction for me while I patiently wait until I can get in on one of his super popular seminars. I've personally seen the results with his methods since an old roomie of mine used them since day one with her puppy, but I know they aren't for everyone. The Scoop: The 100th Episode Dog Whisperer Reunion Show

Can you believe they're at 100 already?! Yesterday, the National Geographic Channel taped a special celebration in Burbank to mark the 100^th episode of the Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan. It actually included a reunion of over 75 dogs and hundreds of owners who appeared on the show during its past four seasons . . . oh, and cake. The event also included two special sweet snacks, the one you see here is for the owners and another bone-shaped one for the pooches. Although you'll have to wait to see this episode, which won't air 'til fall, check out some behind-the-scenes piccys of the party when you read more.

Vintage Video: Cesar Helping Oprah With Sophie

Oprah's late spaniel, Sophie, was often mentioned or included on various segments of the show - and, on several occasions, Cesar Millan was invited to help Oprah with her furry pals. A problem that North and I sometimes battle, this pooch would become distressed after a person left the home often anxiously howling and seemingly pleading for a quick return. Check out this video to learn Cesar's advice, and see some vintage footage of Sophie from the show.

Pete and Ashlee Enlist Cesar's Help With Baby Bronx

Well before Bronx Mowgli entered the world, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson asked Cesar Millan for help with prepping their two dogs, Hemingway and new pup, Rigby, for the baby's arrival. The trainer offered tips on consistency and a rather unusual way to work off the bulldogs' excess energy.
