Some pets can't get enough of leaf piles, but my scaredy pup doesn't like stepping on any surface that's not solid and definitely won't wade through masses of anything. However he will chase and chew anything that falls from trees including twigs and leaves – how about your furry friends?

Do You Know These Poisonous Fall Bloomers?

Fall's coming and although we've tackled poisonous Summer wildflowers, that season's (sadly) almost done. Yay or Nay For Pets at the Pumpkin Patch?

Mmmm, hands down my favorite sign of the season is the abundance of Fall squash 'cause I can't eat pretty falling leaves! Added to my weakness for pumpkin-y recipes (even for my pooch) is North's love of lounging around and exploring the great outdoors – I bet he'd love to attend a pumpkin patch picnic!
Sadly I haven't been to one of these farms since I was a kid but, thinking about all the new scents and wide-open spaces, I can also see some dangers especially if there are farm animals or wagons for canines to chase. If you've ever had a pet tag along on any leaf-watching, gourd-picking Autumn outings, tell me all about it in your comments below.

Fall is my favorite time of year, mostly due to the great weather, but it's really the season's fashions that get me all a twitter! I'm getting set for the weather change in my wardrobe, so it's only natural that I get North all caught up, too – he's one hip hound if I do say so myself! Since accessorizing is key to making a complete wardrobe, these cases will surely go with all your autumnal updates – sounds like another Fall must have to me!

It's Never Too Early For Fall Fashion: Idawg Bomber Jackets

I'm a true believer in planning ahead when it comes to fashion. My theory is it's never too early in August to check out autumn goodies, especially since New York Pet Fashion Week is right around the corner. As you can tell, I'm excited to get into the swing of things a little early. So when I saw Idawg's hot Fall line of bomber jackets, I instantly fell in love.

North would totally rock this Idawg Fader in Navy, keeping him warm and toasty on those misty San Francisco nights. And since Idawg is based up in rainy Washington state, I'm guessing they are quite the authority on wet-weather gear!
