It looks like Juicy isn't the only trendy human brand that's created a line of luxurious pet body products. I was doing some shopping for my nonfurry friends and noticed that Kiehl's has a whole selection of cleansers specially formulated for dogs.
Apparently the line was created to remove dirt, debris, and odor, but is soap free, which means it's perfect for pups with sensitive fur.
L.L. Bean stocked up on new products just in time for the holiday season – as long as you order by Dec. 21, they'll make for happy Christmas morning pups.
While it's generally a good idea to get a big tank to give fish plenty of room to swim about, some species like the Betta need less water than others. The minimum amount of recommended water for these colorful creatures is one-gallon-per-one-inch of fish. Keep in mind that, if you are keeping your Betta in a small tank or bowl (especially one without a tank or filter), you will need to change the water every few days while adjusting it to room temperature before adding fish.
If you're stopping by a holiday party at the home of a dog lover, consider toting a bottle of Dog House wine as a tail-wagging good gift. The Napa-based winery offers five different wines on this label: Patches' Pinot Grigio, Zeke's Zinfandel, Charlie's Chard, Maxie's Merlot, and Checkers' Cab. As an additional bonus Dog House Wines donates fifty cents for each purchased bottle to Guide Dogs for the Blind, an organization that provides guide dogs and training free of charge to the blind and visually impaired.
You may recall my semi-traumatic pigeon incident, but even if you don't, suffice to say I still imagine any bird who sweeps too close to be two flutters away from landing in my hair. However, for those of you who do desire to get a close-up view of a pigeon (or have an easy target like me), I've got the perfect gift for you.
This handmade pigeon birdcall not only beckons the birdies to you, but also can be used to terrify remind others who have spent time in bird-filled cities like Manhattan of the calls of the urban wild.
It's time to treat our feathered friends! In the spirit of the impending holidays, check out these festive products just for the birds. Gifting pets during any season is a great idea – especially toys that encourage natural-birdie behavior.
Treat small pets this holiday season with a variety of special gifts meant just for them! From the 100 percent edible alfalfa and honey huts to a 12-sq.-ft. playpen with mat and cover to allow pets to roam safely outside of their cage (or even outside of your house), these gifts are great for small-mammal owners whose lil' creatures already have a little of everything else.
Tonight marks the final night of Hanukkah, and the last day of this part of our Pet Present Extravaganza. Especially fitting to finish up with are these tees, tanks, and even a tutu to boast the lil' one's spirit all year round. Recap the rest of my Hanukkah list for last-minute gift ideas, anytime presents, or plans for next year.
That little Hanukkah puppy cookie is certainly cute enough to be part of Your Snack or Dog Snack! With its peanut butter flavor and carob and yogurt frosting, it may be worthy of a sample by you, too. As part of the continuing
